CHAPTER 16

FLASHBACK

(VINCENT’s POV)

We are currently enjoying the sunset here at Manila bay, just sitting calmly while, hugging the love of my life, the whole day we went to great places here in Manila, and Maxine wish to go here, I could bring her, to more great place, but she requested it here, she said she like simplicity better, and just be with me, how lucky man I am being with the simply beautiful woman I have ever known.

“hmmmm, Vince, parang ang lalim ata ng iniisip mo ah?” sabi niya sa akin while facing me

“I’m just happy that I am your man, Princess Max, I could not ask for more” I said smiling at her, hugging her gently, how I love the scent of her sweetness

“wow! Ang sweet naman ng Prince Vince ko, hmmmm Vince?” sabi nito

“yes Princess?”

“ano kasi eh, hmmmm lumubog na ung araw, alis na tayo…tsaka, hmmmm gutom na ako”

“hahaha, sure. Princess, where do you wanna eat?” I said while smiling at her, kasalukuyang kaming naglalakad pabalik sa sasakyan

“kahit saan, ikaw na bahala” she said while smiling at me

“ok Princess” then hugged her while we are walking, I know its kinda corny, but what can I say, I really do love her

“hmmmm Vince, salamat sa araw na to ahh. I love you” then she gave me a quick kiss on the lips, and walked away, directing to the car, alam ko nahihiya sya kaya sya tumakbo, such innocent girl, makes me happy.

Kasalukuyan kaming pababa ng sasakyan, we went here sa isang Italian restaurant here at Tomas Morato, as i opened Maxine’s door, I heard a familiar voice.

“Vincent?” I turn around, para Makita kung sino ang nagmamay ari ng boses na iyon

“Greg?”

“pare! Kamusta? Long time no see dude!” then he walked towards me

“eto pare, still living, what about you dude? How’s the gang?” sabi ko, while giving him our signature handshake

“still the same dude, in fact they are inside, you know, kinda mini reunion ng highschool gang natin, we thought you are still at states dude,” sabi nito, then napa tingin kay Maxene

“I went back here few months ago, sorry I’ve been busy, thats why I forgot to contact you guys, and by the way, this is my girlfriend, Maxene” holding Maxene near me

“wow pare, kaya pala busy ka, sa ganda ba naman ng girlfriend mo, kailangan bantayan yan ng 24/7 dude! Hahaha,” sabi sakin nito, then faced Maxene.

“Hi Miss Maxene, im Greg, Vincent’s highschool friend, are you sure boyfriend mo siya? Hindi kayo bagay eh!” he said while chuckling

“Dude back off! She’s mine, mine alone” I said

“dude chill, I know the drill! Anyhow, are you having dinner too? Come and join us!”

“Princess Max, ok lang ba sayo if we join them?” asking for her permission

“oo naman” she said with a smile..

“so its settled.. lets go inside dude!” sabi ni Greg

As we are inside sa resto, we are here sa Vip room, its kinda big and cozy room. Then saw my highschool friends…

“hi guys!” bati ko sa mga ito

“dude!” sabay sabay naman nilang sabi sa akin

“guys I want you to meet my beautiful girlfriend, Maxene” I said then hugged her waist

“hi maxene im Eric” lapit nito dito

“hello maxene, im Josh”

“miss beautiful maxene im Chad”

“back off guys! Lets seat”

“jealous re we dude? Hahaha” sabi ni chad

“you know him, always like that” sabi ni Eric, giving a smile

“dude, lets seat, and eat, pare gutom na ako,” sabi ni Josh

“yeah me too, after this lets drink and dance” sabi ni Greg

“you will go with us diba dude?”  tanong ni Josh

“err, im not sure dude, today is really our date, me and maxene”

“pare we haven’t seen each other for like ages ago, go out with us later!” sabi ni Chad

“ok lang naming sumama kayo mamaya diba Maxene?” tanong ni Eric kay Maxene

“guys, don’t put Maxene into that position, this is our date, maybe next time dude” sabi ko

“hindi, ok lang, matagal mo na naman silang hindi nakikita eh..so ok lang sumama tayo mamaya” nakangiting sabi nito

“you sure Princess?” tanong ko

“oo naman” nakangiting sagot nito

“ok so its settled, after this dinner let’s drink and dance later mga pre!” nakangiting sabi ni Josh
