Jen's POV;

After a few seconds of pure bliss, I pull back in shock. His brown eyes boring holes into mine as he looks at me. "I'm sorry.." He whispers. "I shouldn't have done that. I got carried away.."

"It's okay." I breath shakily and stand quickly. "Come on, let's go. Liam'll worry." I say quietly.

We walk to my car silently. "Do you want a ride there and we can come back for yours?" I ask.

"No, I'll take mine." He says something after that, but I don't ask what he said. My mind is too confused, and jumbled up to form a decent thought.

"Yeah." I answer forgetting completely what he had just said.

Once he drives away, I lean my forehead on my steering wheel. Then I let my impending tears fall down my cheeks. My strangled, animal like sobs fill my ears and my breath catches in my throat. It's hard to breath.

Why did he kiss me? Why? Why would he threaten the amazing friendship we have together just for one measly kiss?

I really love you Jen.

He meant it. He really does love me. He has to unless he wouldn't have kissed me like that.

It wasn't like a kiss we shared on camera, it was raw. His tears stained mine cheeks, and the emotion was so pure and loving. He was so broken, so fragile. He put it all on the line just for me to reject him. But I don't love him, I can't.

I'm with Nicholas. He loves me, and I think I might love him someday. He's a growing actor, and someday he'll be successful. We might be happy one day.

But could I be happy with Josh right now?

I pull my sun visor down, and flip my mirror up. I don't even look human. My mascara runs down my cheeks in long streaks. Any cheek and face makeup I had on is now gone, flowed away from my tears.

I try my best to wipe it away, but my cheeks are stained.

Once my phone is plugged into the car's stereo; I blast the first song that comes onto my pandora app. I begin to scream the lyrics to Down with the sickness by Disturbed. It seems to help my angry, confused state.

When I pull into the tiny café's parking lot, I see Liam's car. Well, the car his driver drives him in. I look around, I don't see Josh's.

I grab my phone, purse, and keys and hurry from my car. I tap on the window to Liam's and he steps out quickly. "Hey!" He says a little too quickly. "Hey, Jen are you okay? I can tell you've been crying!" He grabs my elbow and holds it tightly. "Jen." He presses.

"Where's Josh?" Is the first thing I ask.

"He said he had to go home. He didn't look too good either. What happened Jen?"

"No, nothing happened. I'm fine."

"Jen, you've both obviously been crying, I could tell."

"Look I'm not ready to talk about it yet. If I want to talk about it later we can, but for now I just .. can't." My words fading as I talk.

"Okay, let's go inside."

He wipes my few escaped tears, and then places a hand on my lower back to guide me inside. "Hi guys h- oh my god! Your Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence." The young girl squeals with menus in hand.

"Yes yes, can we have a corner table please?"

"Of course." She smiles. "Right this way." She motions for us to follow and we walk through doors into a secluded corner. "I'll be back in a few minuets."
