I cant take it.

If I spend one more second alone nothing but the sound of my own heart beating I am going to lose it completely. I take a deep breath and look out from the roof top I am on. The blackness has advanced the city becoming smaller and smaller by the hour.

I pick at the edge of the roof top pullibg away small chunks of the cracked concrete. I sigh and throw it over the ledge and watch it tumble down the brick and onto the side walk below.

I stand and brush the dirt from my pants and walk back to the roof access door. I take one look back at the ledge and push open the metal door. I make my way down the many flights of stairs because I have nothing better to do at this point.

Ive completely lost all track of time. I dont remember how long it has been since I woke up in this place. I continue walking when I get outside of the bulding. I look up to the sky the sun is now seemingly stuck in the middle of the sky. No more sun rise no more sun set. No wonder I cant keep track of time.

I shiver when a gust of cold air brushes past. I hear a voice call out once again. Like always it is to quite to far away to hear what it is really saying. I walk down the street anyways from the direction it sounded like it came from.

I hear more whispers I weave in and out of streets cutting threw back alleys until I realize.

I havent been in this  part of town yet. I brush off the weird feeling I have and continue following the voices. I end up in the middle of an intersection. The whispers stop dead as soon as I enter it. I look around and get a weird feeling chewing at my guts. I turn and see something I havent seen since I have been here.

A car crash. I look around and see all the other cars still frozen in olace and back toward the two cars that are wrapped around one another. I look up to the street lights. One burns green the other side red. I stare at them for a moment but unlike the other ones they never change.

I look back at the wreckage and a wave of nausea hits me I stumble ober to the side walk and empty the content of my stomach against the bricks of the building. I sit back and realize this is where I woke up.

This is where I entered this personal form of hell.
