(Your pov)
"Come on Carl. It'll be fun. Please?" You beg Carl for the fourth time that morning.
"(Y/n), we never know what can happen. Someone could get hurt." He retorts. (Idk if I used that word right. Haha)
"And by someone, you mean me."
"Yes, (y/n), I mean you. I don't want you hurt."
"What's so harmful about a pond, Carl?"
"There could be walkers at the bottom of it and they could drag you under, you could drown cause your foot got stuck on a limb, you could accidentally swallow some water and choke on it, you could trip and fall down the hill that leads to the pond, you could-"
"CARL!"
"What?"
"None of that is gonna happen. You always see the bad in things. Can't you see the good for once? Please. For me."
Carl sighs and says, "Ok. We'll go. But if you get hurt I don't know what I'll do." You squeal and hug him. "Thanks babe."
"Your welcome." He says with the biggest smile on his face. "Get your stuff too. Your going to swim with me." You say and pull away from the hug.
"She has you whipped, kid." Daryl says laughing. "Oh come on Daryl, he stood his ground for a while." Glenn says with sarcasm clear in his voice.
"Guys, leave him alone. He's trying... And failing." Rick says with a smirk.
"Leave him be!" You yell at them and peck Carl on the lips quickly. They immediately stopped bothering Carl and looked at you.
"And I'm whipped?" Carl asks with a laugh. "You all are. Suck it up and deal with it like real men." You say and run off to get an extra pair of undergarments.
When you come back down you see Carl holding a bag standing next to the door. "What are we gonna swim in?" He asks cluelessly.
"Our underwear, silly. We don't have bathing suits here." You say and he gulps.
You kiss his cheek and he unzips the bag. You put your undergarments in the bag and see that he already had an extra pair of underwear in the bag.
You laugh at how awkward he is just standing there at the door watching you stuff clothes into a bag. "Be careful you two." Rick says with a smile. "And don't do anything stupid." He adds.
"We won't dad." Carl says, clearly annoyed with how protective his dad is. "Oh no, you don't get to be annoyed at your dad for being protective. You just argued with me all morning about us going swimming. You two are so much alike it's scary." You say and grab Carl's arms and run out the door.
You run through the woods, clearly excited about swimming in the new found pond.
When you finally get to the pond you look at Carl for permission. "Why are you looking at me?" He asks with a smirk growing on his face.
"Strip. Down to your underwear. I'll do the same except I have a bra that is staying on." You say with a straight face.
"Ok. Fair enough." He says and pulls off his shirt. Next he pulls off his pants and hat.
You take off your shirt and pants. You pull your hair up into a pony tail. (Sorry if you can't) You look at Carl, who is staring at you with his bright blue eyes.
"See something you like?" You say with a smirk. "Eh. I don't know. I see something I love." He says and walks closer to you.
He leans in and closes the space between you in a long, slow, passionate kiss.
When you pull away you catch your breath before shoving Carl into the pond. He made a big splash and when he came up for air he just playfully glared at you.
You jump in and swim over to him. "Howdy, handsome." You say as you wrap your arms around the back of his neck.
"Hello, gorgeous." He says and puts his hands on your waist. He leans in and kisses you softly.
You swam around for hours until you thought it would be best to get back before anyone got worried.
You got out and changed into dry clothes. Soon after, so did Carl.
You pack your wet clothing into the bag and bend over to pick it up. But when you bent over Carl smacks your ass.
You gasp and turn around with the bag in your hand. "Was that supposed to be sexual or just mean?" You ask with a giggle.
"Both." He says simply and smiles. You kiss him and take off running to the house you were staying at.
