I climbed into the passenger seat and slammed the car door shut. I heard a buzz from my purse. My purse had Mickey Mouse comic strips on it. I took out my phone. My phone had a quote on it that said "Keep Calm and Pray" with praying hands on the bottom of it. I got a text message from my best friend Lilly. Hey how is everything? Eh. I guess I'm doing horrible 😭. I miss home. I miss my dad. I miss you. :(. I know it's hard. :(. But guess what? I'm sad too bc I can't see you at school anymore and I will only see you on breaks from school. :(. IKR. This is so unfair!!!!!!!! :(. I miss you! I miss u too! It'll be ok Sky! We turned onto Rainbow Place. in the town of Willow Falls. We pulled up to a white house. The number was 157. The moving van pulled up and I started looking through boxes. Pictures. Christmas Decorations. Skyler's Baby Clothes. There we go I said. I took the boxes in that said Skyler's Room Decor and Sky's Pics. I brought them into the first empty room I saw. Mom and the moving van put the rest of the boxes inside. Thanks my mom said to the moving van guy. No problem. Have a good one. He wrote down his number and winked at mom. Sorry but I'm married. My husband's in the army. Oh, sorry he said looking embarrassed. Bye. He said rushing to the van. My mom and I laughed for 2 minutes. Then she said ok let's unpack. Ok I said frowning.
