EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED!

Chapter 6

My mom knocked on the bathroom door is everything alright in there honey she said worried. I wiped away my tears and calmed down before I opened the door. Yeah, I said trying to fight back the tears. I clenched my fist every time I felt tears coming on. Everything's gonna be ok I said to myself. I unlocked the door to see my mom with mascara all over her face like she had been crying. Mom? I said. We looked a each other with tears welling up in our eyes. We hugged each other. Honey, how did you find out she said through sniffs and sobs.  I tried skyping daddy and general Carmine picked up and told me the whole thing. I said squeezing her tighter like my teddy bear Mr. Bowtie. He was a big brown bear with a red bowtie. I got him from my dad when I was a baby. Mommy, I said. Yes Skylar. What if there is no hope? I don't know Sky. I really don't. We just got to pray. Remember whatever happens it is for a reason. It's God's plan. I know I said. Mommy can I sleep with you tonight?  Yes baby. I might need a hand to hold,she smiled and kissed my forehead. Ding dong. The doorbell rang. It was the pizza delivery guy. Pizza's here Sky. Can you go answer it for me she said while pulling a 20 dollar bill out of her back pocket and handing it to me. Sure thing I said. I walked over to the door. I wonder if it's going to be any of those older guys with those santa beards and long white hair in a pony tail? I thought to myself. We always got them back in Chicagio. Or the ones with beer on their breath. I shivered at the thought. I opened the door. That'll be 20 please said a guy around my age,maybe a sophomore with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He was so cute. Yeah sure any other time I'll be all dressed up for church, a party, a school dance and no cute boy is there. But when I look like shit they come around. My light brown hair was in a bun, I was wearing a gray sweatshirt that said US ARMY that I got in honor of my dad, black leggings, and theses slipper socks with cupcakes on them. Here you go I said trying not to blush. Hey are you new here?  He asked. Yeah I just moved in today actually. I go to Willow Falls High he Said. I guess I'll be seeing you there I said . What grade are you in I blurted out. Damn it I said in my mind. I'm a sophmore. Yeah I'm a freshmen  I  Said . Well see you  he started, Friday I said. I start in 2 days. Well see you around I guess he said smiling. See you I said smiling and probably blushing. Enjoy the pizza. Thanks you too I said. Uh,bye he said. I waved and shut the door. You too? He doesn't eat the pizza he delivers. Oh, great I said. Now I'll never get a chance with this guy. He's so hot. Hopefully things will click. Ugh I said groaning. Why am I  such a dork?
