EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED!

Chapter 7

Beep Beep Beep. My Hello Kitty alarm clock woke me up. 6:30.  Man. It's Friday already I said. The only time I'm not excited for Friday. My first day at a new school. I did a big stretch and yawn and went into my bathroom. I jumped in the shower and turned the water to a lukewarm temperature. I splashed water on my face to wake me up a bit more. I grabbed my wash cloth and put some Dove soap on it. Scrub a dub dub I said. Wow, I don't think I've said that since I was like 7 I laughed.  I put some Shampoo in my hands. Warm Vanilla Sugar. Smells delightful, I said. When I was finished I hopped out of the shower and dried myself off. You are a smart, strong, confident, awesome, young woman and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I said into the mirror. I say that everyday to myself. I went into my room and picked out my outfit. My outfit for today was a green camouflage jacket with a matching t under it in honor of my dad, blue jeans, and brown combat boots. I put my hair in a quick side fishtail. I put some foundation, mascara, eyeliner and light pink lipstick on. I think  that's enough. I said. I ran downstairs. Good morning mom I said giving her a big bear hug and a kiss on the cheek. Good morning Sky. Sleep well? Slept like a baby I said pouring myself some cherrios and milk. When I finished I grabbed my back pack and went over my supply list and checked everything off that I had. Yep got everything. Ok ready to go Skylar. Yes ma'am I said. My mom and I hopped into the blue Subaru. I texted Lilly. Going to my new school rn. :( miss you. Miss you too said Lilly. Ttyl Lil I gtg. K bye. Let's face time lates. She said. Yes definitely. :D have a great first day. Thanks :). We pulled up to the school. Well this is it I said. I hope you have a Great first day my mom said. Me too. I love you baby. Love you too mom. I'll pick you up at 1:45 ok? Ok mommy. I kissed her on her cheek. Bye ma. Bye Sky. Have fun. Bye I smiled. Blowing a kiss. I walked around campus for a while. Well class doesn't start till 9:10 it's 8:15 now. I got plenty of time. I walked around. Everyone was talking. The freshmens, the sophomores, the juniors, the seniors, the jocks and their girlfriends, the geeks, the popular girls. How do I know this already you may ask? Been around this environment for the last 4 months. A Girl walked up to me. Hi she said. I'm Andrea. She had black hair with golden streaks, two French braids and she wore a black nirvana t shirt, leopard print leggings, black glasses and red converse. Hi I said. I'm Skykar. I'm new here. Oh cool. She said. So did you move here or? I moved from Concord New Hampshire I said. Wow. Cool she said. What grade are you in I asked. I'm a freshmen. Me too I said smiling. That's good. Now I get to show you around more. Really? Thanks. Eh, no problem she said. It's kind of my thing. So what's your first class? Um, sewing I said looking at my list. I don't take sewing she said. But I take shop class, and cooking. But I know who the sewing teacher is. Come on I'll show you around she said smiling. Ok I said smiling. I think I just made a new friend.
