"We cant just not look for him!!" Shouted Blue, still avoiding the concept of him bringing three six packs of bloxy cola to a General meeting. This meeting was more serious then the last, everyone was here, except the one who we looked to most, our leader. Flown in from Station Alpha, Station Blue, and all over the universe. Blockshady had finlay waken up and was still recovering from his three day coma. We were all stuffed into the lounge area outside the cafe, a make-shift no one relay liked.

"Calm down." R. Mann called through the rowdy crowed of officers. "We will find him, but first we need to establish a Temp." A hush fell over the ranks. Not even a hand nuke could have penetrated the tension in the air. Looking around I could see the fear in the eyes of battle worn soldiers. Some you could tell would rather be taking a nuke at the moment.  Everyone knows the story of L.M.

He was one of the strongest well put together leaders in MB. Legomasta had trained mostly by example. WAC at one point decided he had, had enough. He steped down and LM had taken his place. Unfortunately, the toll was heavy, the days were long, and the soldiers were relentless. Once WAC came back, LM took a vacation, and never came back. We all had stressful jobs already. The job of being a Skymarshal was our jobs, fifty fold. Being a leader of military of over three thousand people, so many wanted to see you, so many wanted to kill you.

"No volinteers?" R.Mann asked as if he had expected this. The pale faces must have given it away.

CRASHH!!! Every one turned, fear turned to curiosity. As a figure pulled himself up from a fallen cart of med-kits and handguns, Major Zarj stepped forward at attention.

"Yes?" R. Mann sized up the new soldier as he walked dusted himself off.

"Sir! I have a note addressed to you. Hudyma found it among the ashes of his office. R.Mann froze. Hesitantly he held is hand out for the note. The gesture instantly saw results. Slowly he opened it, as if it were about to spontaneously combust. Silently he read the note, his eyes widening a little more with each sentence scanned. All eyes were on him. As he finished he looked up at me.

"Poppy, your going to want to see this." He swallowed still trying to absorb the information he got from the syringed piece of flattened wood.  I approached the area were he stood, the back of my mind thinking mearde, mearde, mearde. [Don't look that up.] As soon as I reached the point in which R.Mann was standing, he gingerly held out the paper. I easily took it, it read;

Rocket, I wrote this as soon as I heard the missile was coming. SH members have taken me to a safe house, I am safe. In my absence two will be in charge, you and Poppy, my second in commands. [At this point, no Horatio was not a 2ic yet] I wish you both good luck, I will be back as soon as possible.

I was sure my eyes were as wide if not wider then humanly possible. Rocket and I were to guide the whole military until our leader could get back. We were in the middle of a war. All eyes staring at the two of us.

"It has been decided." I announced, pulling back into the world. A dozen questions lined my mind, I'm sure R.Mann's was the same. The generals still completely silent watched with questioning looks in their eyes.I looked around still trying to accept the fact that I was now sharing the responsability of this Military with another general, who luckily, was the leaders cousin.

"Rocket and I have been giving the responsibility. Everyone is to return to your recent post and get back to work." I announced. Murmurs broke the silence. Relived to have the tension broken half of the standing ranks let out a sigh of relief, others look scared for their lives.

"Hurry up men we don't have all day." R.Mann. Snapped out of his awe back into the world.

_Two days later_

"Welcome arch. Report." I saw them approaching on my radar before anyone else could see them. Only problem with that, no one knows what they were arriving in.

"That's not looking good." Rook peeked over my shoulder at the read dots approaching the Welcome arch. Its seems my under payed baby sitter has returned.

"They're going to need you in D4." I glared at him, only showing up when no one else seemed to be around. I never could figure out why he didn't just join SH.

"Yeah.. about that.... " He stepped back two paces. " I'm staying here and being your body guard." He straightened up. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I never saw the point in protecting me in my own base, but then again, look what happened to WAC.

"Ma'am, they're on the horizon. With Tanks." Com. Hudyma sounded like he was running. Being the leader of the small Platoon on the Welcome Arch, running meant there were more then the eye could see.

"Gen. R.Mann, They're coming in, fast." I spoke threw the communicator, knowing Rm was still at main base, helping prepare for the on coming attack.
