The communicator in my ear started buzzing. VAKs were popping up from every direction. They all seemed gather before entering the city limits. The tension in the air was rising. The troops who were still in the main base were trembling with the feeling something bad was going to occur. The difference between this time and the last battle was that WAC is gone, and Spearheads haven't been heard from since the disappearance. Leaving R.Mann and me in charge of a questioning army, we were about to go into a full throttle battle.
The rich blue sky grew dark, the thirst appeared on the horrid faces of each and every Vaktovian. A thirst for blood, our blood. A tall rough silhouette walked out of one of our fallen tanks, now a heap of rubbish. He had a pure black mask with bloody feathers streaming from top to bottom. He wore a dark as death trench coat. This was their leader, Vaktus. He had just finished off the poor soldiers that were in the tank, he hung their finger bones around his neck. He was preparing for an all out battle, this was not a good sign. By the looks of his army, only the best of the best were here, and there were plenty to go around.
As every Mobile stared at the sight of the enemy's leader who had just walked into plain view. As the MB snipers took aim, so did the Vak snipers. The tension turned hate as Vaktus snapped his fingers and one of the recruits, who looked scared beyond belief ran him megaphone. The emperor impatiently held out his hand. The young cadet gingerly placed the megaphone into the hand of the ego filled leader. Who yanked up the gadget to his mouth to speak.
"Mobile Bloxxers. Your day has come! Your hours are numbered!" boomed the figure that stoop upon the tank. " Surrender now or prepare to fight! "
At that, you could see the depression in the eyes of the green suited soldiers. Hope was dwindling along with the rage that spiked upon Vaktus' arrival. As if on cue...
"GO DIE IN A HOLE YOU DICTATOR REJECT!!" Out of the still-blue part of the sky five id sized troop carriers flew towards the city. Leading the fleet was none other the General Ihateppl with a sniper trained on the gothic dictator. The only black back who was thinking clearly at the surprise sprang to take the hit for Vaktus. With Ihateppl's bullet whirring through the mass of black and green, it hit dead center on the wrong target, right where Vaktus' heart was seconds before. You could feel the mentality of the soldiers instantly go from 'we're all gonna die.' to 'I bet my bullet gets closer then yours'. The determination filled the soldiers who at the cry of each and every platoon and squad leader ran for their group of black backs.
"Live forever apes!!" the familiar battle cry sounded the que for attack.
As the war raged on more men fell, body's and blood littered the streets. Whole squads had fallen and yet soldiers keep fighting.
"Ma'am, we have pushed them back to District four!" Called Commander Rook. As confirmed, the lights on the radar seemed to be pulling back little by little.
"Rock, how is it down on your end?" I spoke through the communicator hoping the radar was wrong. Sure enough the answer was one no one liked.
" We are going to need some more backup!!" He called over gun fire and explosions. R.Mann was out in the field helping with the frigates that seemed to be pouring in.
"On my way." I watched as more and more red dots seemed to come out of no were on the screen of the radar.

Yes I know the chapters kind of short, and not very interesting, but i'm running low on time and even lower on inspiration. 'The daily raids arn't helping contrary to my belief.' So all Ideas are welcome!
