Poppy's Point of View-

The ground shows a fine line between our land and their land. Luscious green grass with the occasional tree, red tinted water and the wounded on our side. Scorched black dirt, ashes, and craters littered their side. No vaktovian's or MB living on that side. On the fine line that separated the two sides The green and black soldiers were clashing with a mighty force. Medics in red whisked away the injured Mobiles from the battle, the VAK soldiers fought till they could fight no more, and hoped for a swift death. The skimmer landed at the Outpost closest to the monument. In the command room of the outpost, Rocket was spiting orders into his communicator. Blockshady was dropping in to repair his broken morita and grab some extra troops. Looking out the window I could see both the still held third district, and the captured fourth district. The commanders running in and out of the outpost receiving and sending progress that the over loaded communicators couldn't handle.

"You commander, come here" I called one of the runners, who instictively paused to take in the rank of the person who had called him.

"Yes Ma'am?" He saluted.

"You know what happened to the squad that was in District Four?"

"They were captured and were shipped off  the Welcome Arch where the Vakkies are holding prisoners Ma'am."

"Thanks for the update" I sent him off trying trying not to cuss under my breath. Rocket, was still locked onto his radar, communicators looking like it could explode at any minute. Examining the room, then looking out the window towards the battle, the tiny glint on the top of the building caught my eye. A bullet whizzed threw the window barley missing Rocket and strait to the ammo pack of blockshadys fixed morita, causing a small explosion.

"SNIPER!!" Four of the un-effected shouted in unison. Being the medic, I headed strait for those wounded by the small ammo explosion. Rocket was a little shell shocked. sitting with his back up against the part of the wall with no windows. Three wounded in the explosion, one commander, blockshady, and a new recruit. The commander got up and headed for the shell-shocked general in the corner while the recruit helped me prop blockshady against the wall.

"I need a medkit now!!" I commanded years of experience flooding back to me. Within seconds the medkit flew open.

"Hand me the bandages and the tweezers, quickly!" I got to work, timed at two minutes, Blockshady was fixed, mostly. Looking down at his new metal arm, you could see the shell shock in his face. Rocket, had the same expression. The sniper was starting to get a little rigger happy, either that or he brought some friends. Bullets started hitting the glass, and whizzing threw the room, the last runner who tried to get a message out lay dead in the door way. In the small room, the Six who were there seemed to much. We were in fact trapped. With two commanders, a recruit, two shell-shocked generals, and me, well, we were in a bind.

RookieTrooper's Point of View - POW

"Mh-hmmm, perfect. His deoxyribonucleic acid is ready."

"Wh- What do you want from me?" I said returning to my conscience.

"Your awake, hmm- interesting. You withstood a dose of cyanide that would've killed anyone other than you. Perfect!" He mumbled.

"Cyanide? How do you know it wouldn't have killed anyone else?" I said struggling break from the chamber I was concealed in.

"Because, I've already tested on your men." He said with a grin.

"What have you done to them?" I stopped struggling and stood there blankly staring at him.

"I watched them crawl up in the corner of their cell and breathe their last, that's what." He turned around and whipped me with a sinister smile.

"Your crazy!"

"No, I'm a Vaktovian Scientist. By the way, you are about to be the reason for the destruction of your precious Capital."

"What do you mean?"

"I've made a deceitful imitation of you. In other words, I cloned you."

"I told you specifically not to inform our prisoner!" said a tall dark robed man.

"Aye-I'm sorry sir," mumbled the scientist.

"Sorry doesn't cut it," the man in the dark robes held up his open hand and then swiftly formed a fist.

"But-", the scientist fell immediately into a heap of ashes.

"Vaktus!"

"The game has just begun Rook."

Poppy's Point of View-

"Someone take out the snipers!! We're pinned in the first outpost!" I shouted through my com. If they didn't get the message soon, we were done for. There were a confirmed four snipers stationed on three buildings in two districts.

"Ma'am, we are trying our hardest! We are out numbered five to one! I can try get a sniper set, but we need back up! DESPERATELY!!" Commander Kibble broke off with a round of gun fire. The connection with Kibble was lost.

Looking around under the cover of the concrete wall just under the window that looked like translucent swiss cheese, Rocket seemed to be re-gaining a hold on reality while Blockshady seemed to have passed out completely for a few minutes. Just out side a sound of an explosion followed by what sounded like ten giant eagles swooping in for their defenseless pray.

"FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD SPACE SQUADS ARE HERE!" One of the new lieutenants screamed through the communicator. My eyes wandered to the second and third space leaders next to me, then my mind to Blue, my old mentor. Another sniper bullet whizzed by. Then the thought occurred. Blue!

"Blue you there?" Pushing down my hopes for fear of dissipointment.

"Miss me Pop?" The familiar voice came threw."Im on my way to shoot some VAK scum. Talk to ya later." Then he cut off. One of the last of the MB originals flew off with three squads of trained space men behind him.

Things were starting to look up, at least for now.

Rookie's Point of View-

Vaktus turned and headed for the exit, then he paused. He held up his hand and supposedly signaled something. The doors closed, and the room fell silent.

The bars that concealed me where suddenly lifted, I sat up and walked out. I searched the laboratory for anything that might ease my escape.

Out of the blue, a hovering sound whizzed by. I turned around wielding my make-shift weapon and swung barely hitting it. It was now clear that it was a drone. The drone fired off a misguided flare and the ceiling erupted.

The roof hailed down and I rushed towards the drone dodging the falling debree. Suddenly, a engine sounded, a ship landed inside the laboratory. The smoke cleared, and the vehicle halted. The pilot hatch door opened, and a man with glistening armor stepped out.

The exit doors opened unleashing Vaktovian troopers, they opened fire on the armored man who then activated a shield. The man looked them straight in the eye, the troopers turned and began to run. But they suddenly fell into ashes.

"Cowards, how dare you flee."

"Stand down Vaktus, I'm here for him. Your fate is sealed, if you attack it will be your last."

Vaktus stood straight, "I am not alone." Vaktovian troopers flooded out the doors and surrounded us in all directions. He knocked the front line down and then tossed me a machine gun. I opened fire on the men at the right, and he respectively shot at the ones towards the left. We fell back towards the ship.

I spotted a Vaktovian sniper but before I could react the sniper was dead. He hopped into the pilot hatch and then signaled me to get in through the hatch in the back I was dodging bullets all the way. I slid beneath the closing door and strapped myself into a seat.
