Coming Clean

Abby's POV

(Dream)  It was dark I couldn't see where I was. Until, I saw my dad. He stepped down to me and said, "I love you, and I'm sorry." I looked confused and said, "What does that..."

I saw Socs beating him, until he was dead. I cried while the Socs laughed at me. (End of dream) When I woke up, I didn't know where I was. Until, my memory came back from last night.

Johnny rolled over and said, "Your up early." I said, "Nah, just a bad dream." He looked worried and said, "Look, I'll talk to Ponyboy if you want me to."

I kissed his cheek and said, "Thanks, I'd appreciate it." He blushed and looked at the ground. I wonder if he likes me because he acts like he does. He looked at me and said, "You ok?"

I plastered a fake smile on my face and said, "Yeah, I'm fine." He said, "No your not, Abby, you know I'm here for you right?" I smiled for real and said, "I know, and I am not ready to start the day."

We stood up and he said, "It's either now or never." I looked at him and said, "Never works." He smiled and said, "Come on."

We walked all the way to the Curtis house, and I realized I was still wearing the same clothes for my 'date' yesterday, but by now my makeup has faded.

Pony's POV
Around 6:30 Cherry Valance came over to my house. She was telling me about how there was a dance, and Bob stood her up and she was heart broken.

I had to comfort, so I did. I talked to her and at the end of our talk we hugged. When, I was releasing her, she kissed me.

I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't do anything because I didn't want to hurt her more. When we were done and she left, it was around seven so I guess Abby is running late which is ok. (30 Minutes Later) Ok, that's it Cherry wasn't the only one stood up tonight.

Abby's POV
We opened the door, and Ponyboy grew angry. Everyone turned around to see him when I stepped in. Great everyone's mad at me!

He marched to the kitchen with me following. When we were in there, everyone turned down the tv so they could hear us.

I said, "Pony, we need to talk." He said, "Not with you." I said, "Why are you mad?" He turned, looked me in the eyes, and said, "Because you stood me up."

I said, "Well, I wouldn't have if I didn't see you cheat on me." He looked confused and said, "I never cheated on you."

I said, "Yes, you did and I don't know why, but I want an answer." He said, "I'm telling you, I didn't cheat on you."

My eyes were watering, but I stayed strong and said, "Pony, you know what sucks about falling for a guy you know your not right for? You fall anyways because you think they might turn out to be different."

He looked at me and said, "What?" I said, "I saw you with Cherry, and don't tell me you weren't kissing her because I saw it all?" He said, "Oh, you saw the kiss?"

I nodded my head and he said, "Nothing's going on with us I swear, I like you." I said, "Yeah, well you obviously like her to. You can just forget the date. Ok?"

I exited the kitchen to have all the guys attention. I just turn to Johnny and say, "Thank you Johnny, for being there for me when I needed you...bye guys." I left their house with tears falling.
