"I know your secret, Kevin," Jared mumbles through scabbed lips.
"I'm an open book, asshole," Kevin glares, strattling Jared's stomach.
"I think I have one of your missing pages, then."
"What do you mean?"
"I heard about you and Edd, dumbass," Jared chuckles. He's tired. He can't feel his face, but his legs and fists are burning.
Kevin hesitates.
"There's nothing happening between us. We just study together."
"That's not what you said during our last football game."
Kevin frowns as his heart hits the floor.
"'Kevin's first boyfriend!'" Jared mocks through red teeth, laughing and choking on blood and spit.
Kevin punches Jared in the nose and leaves him unconscious on the dirty wooden floor of some miscellaneous room.
But when he closes the door and calls Nat, there's nothing that he can really do to get rid of the feeling in the middle of his gut that never seems to dissapear.
