The next day, we had decided upon meeting extremely early to avoid questioning, not that it helped in the end really, almost everyone was going to Hogsmeade, and were most likely to see us.

And, while we discussed this, worked out that we had been wearing each other’s uniform, seeing as the front of Regulus’s, or rather, my shirt was a bit big for his chest. And mine, or Regulus’s, was tight around that area for me. I found this amusing, while Regulus blushed profusely.

I woke up early in the morning, an hour to two before the arranged time to get dressed. I was after all, about to date a handsome Black.

“Sorry Lily.” I muttered quietly next to Lily’s sleeping form, reaching over to take some makeup of hers.

“No problem. But tell me, why you up so early?” Lily said suddenly, opening her eyes and looking at me oddly. She got up and answered her own question by looking at me.

I was wearing a simple floral dress that came to a couple of inches above my knee. I had a small amount of makeup, light lipstick and eye shadow, and I was wearing one ballet flat.

“No no no! No offence Robin, but this isn’t Sirius’s style!” Lily blurted, after looking at what I was wearing.

“Sirius... Sirius’s style? ” I said, my heart beating at his name and raising an eyebrow. The left one to be precise. Don't mock me, I was pretty proud I could do it.

“But you’re going on date with Sirius Black arn’t you?” Lily said, raising an eyebrow herself. Proud I could do it, until I met Lily ofcourse.

“Oh merlin, no Lily! I'm going out with--” I said quickly, stopping when I realised how much I had already said.

“Wiithhh?” Lily said, stepping closer and raising her eyebrow higher. After a while, in which I didn’t answer she continued. “Well, whoever it is, to be honest, I have a better look for you.” And she dashed around to the other’s dressers and grabbed clothes, chucking a pile on her bed.

“I wear... all this?” I said incredulously, staring at the large pile of shirts, dresses, skirts, shorts, magazines of hairstyles and shoes everywhere.

“No no!” Lily said, no picking out some dresses and holding them up. “Now! Try this one!” And she held up a white thin strap dress with a black hem and print.

“Oh. Hahaha Lily. Very funny, a Robin for a Robin. Reealll funny.” I said sarcastically, eyeing the black Robin print near the bottom corner.

“but it’ll look great on you!” Lily whined, waving around in my face. I rolled my eyes and took it, and changed quickly.

I turned around and Lily said, “Toldya’ so!” and took out a hairstyle magazine and a handful of flats and sandals. She flicked around in the book and showed me two hairstyles. One being two loose plaits that hang in front of her shoulders, or a fishtail braid to the side. “Pick one!”

I pointed to the braid one, and so she pushed me into a chair and began braiding it, adding a white and black thick headband. A few minutes later, Lily was already picking out shoes for me to wear, occasionally muttering, “Too formal.” Or “Not his style.” She evidently still thought I was dating Sirius.
