After all this time, you're still part of me. I still feel my heart skip a beat when someone says your name. You're always the last thing on my mind before I sleep. Little things during my day remind me of you. But, time has made my memory soft. I forgot about the horrible ways you broke my heart. My mind blocks out all the memories of the all-consuming sadness you caused. All I can remember are the happy memories and you better thank god for that, because I had a rage so fierce within me, my sharp words would have cut you deep. After all this time, you're still part of me, But, only because I cannot remember my anger and I cannot forget my happiness.
