When you left, I thought everything would stop and my life would be in a constant series of heartbreak. I remember waking up every night, feeling defeated and stupid because you couldn't love a heart like mine. I know, love can hurt sometimes and you taught me the hardest way. Some days, I want to stop my heart from beating, I tried to shut my eyes for a forever so that I could stop this pain that was eating my heart in bits. I won't deny that your departure left me stranded and I was truly broken. I can't count the number I tried counting the minutes each night until my tired eyes fell asleep.
