Genesis Chapter 5

We start heading out the entrance of the building, Taurus, Leo, and I stay close with one another. As I see a fog bank come across the roads.

Taurus looks around in nervousness, Leo simply heads straight on into the fog. "Keep close, we don't want to get separated," he says.

"Nevermind getting separated," Taurus begins. She stops at her tracks and me and Leo do the same. Taurus points at the fog, that has pass through us and now has covered the city.

"What's that?," Taurus asks nervously. Leo and I look into the fog, then look back at her. "I don't see nothing," I say. Leo looks back into the fog, I go over to Taurus. "What's wrong," I ask. "Nothing, it's just I'm having a feeling," Taurus says.

Leo looks back at us,"Whatever you saw its gone," he says to Taurus. As we start walking, we hear a trotting sound coming towards us. That's when I see what appears to be a horse and a person riding it.

Leo gets in front of us, as Taurus takes out her gun and I slowly grab my knife. I hear the horse come closer, Leo turns to us,"Stay silent but be aware."

The horse finally comes into view, the rider a young looking man who has no emotion in his face comes towards us.
He shots his brown eyes at us,"Hold," he calls for his horse to stop.

The horse is beautiful yet eerie, and it's color is a haunting pale color. The rider gets off, and walks toward us, he is only wearing a long looking robe.

He nods to us and we do the same,"How are you?" he asks his voice calm yet chilling. "Fine, I guess," Leo answers first.

Taurus put her gun back into her pocket and I put my knife in my pocket. Taurus steps forward to the rider,"Who are you?," she asks. The rider looks down at her,"I can't say my name for my time on this place is almost up," he answers.

I speak up,"Are you dying?" He turns to me,"No, I'm here to see my job being done as I was told," he says. "Where have you came from?," Leo asks. The rider shakes his head,"Asking too many questions can get you in trouble," he says.

"Yes, well asking too little questions doesn't give you knowledge or the answers you want," Taurus rebuts. The rider nods,"Fair enough my friend, you all have knowledge but now is the time to use it wisely."

Leo shifts on his feet,"Do you know what's going on? Do you know what's happening?," I ask. The rider nods,"Skylar there are things that in this new time where you will have to figure out things on your own," he says.

Leo breathes heavily, Taurus looks at me. Fear is in her eyes,"How do you know my name?," I ask. The rider's horse comes up to me and gently nudges at me. I pet him,"Listen my friends," the rider starts.

"You all need to use every natural sense you have, in order to survive. You are very lucky I didn't come to any one of you during my riding across this planet. You have every resource to save yourselves and to defend yourselves during this dying of the world," the rider says.

We all go quiet but our breathes are quick with fear. The fog has lifted,"There is more to come after me, there is far much worse things coming after me. I hope you all can just be able to live though it all so that once everything is over, said, and done with, you will be able to be still standing and tell you children and your children's children, about the most greatest things you have witness during the restoration of the world."

We all stand in shock, and watch as the rider get on his horse. The rider looks at me, and then grabs something from his robes. I grab it and unwrap it, it's a longer blade. I smile at him,"Thanks."
He smiles back.

He starts to trot away with his horse he turns and waves, we wave back. The rider than began riding away on his horse before yelling back,"Remember he is watching you!"

We stand in shock of his last words, Taurus looks at Leo and me. "What did he mean by he is watching us?" she asks nervously. Leo shakes his head,"I don't know. I guess it was a crazy or something," Leo says but he doesn't sound sure.

Leo turns straight ahead,"Let's keep going we aren't far from the place." After we catch ourselves we follow Leo to our destination.
