We walk through the entrance and into the city, Leo turns to me and look at me with tears in his eyes. I look at him, but words don't come out of my mouth.

"Look around Skyler, what do you see?," Leo asks me, but I don't look at him. I look around me and finally answer.

"Cars, destroyed buildings, bodies... DEAD bodies, and the smell of death consumes my nose everyday," I answer him and I start to cry.

"Your scared, we are all scared. Boy, wouldn't I want to turn back time and do the things I wanted to do before all of this," he says to me with a chuckle.

I don't smile or laugh I look around to see the sky and dust in the air.

The wind is mild but it still manages to pick up my hair and make my hair whip me in my face.

"I... I'm sorry! Okay? I'm SO sorry! I would never try to hurt you, none of you! I.. just don't know why I wanted to do it!," I say to him, my apology is loud enough for my voice to ring throughout the city.

Leo smiles at me sadly. "I forgive you, I know you wanted to kill yourself. To be honest I wanted to do the same thing," he says.

He lifts up his right arm to reveal a scar along his vein, I look at it to see that the scar was made recently.

I sigh and look at him, Leo looks at me and shrugs. He looks at the sky and smiles, I look up too. "Oh my God," I say.

It's the sun, it's finally after all of these days, decide to bring light into this dark world.

As the sun comes up the wind picks up speed and blows some of the dust and ash around the city.

Leo and I laugh, cry, hug, and smile. We go back inside the mall to deliver the news, the sun is out of the clouds. Which means it's finally the rising of a new dawn, a new era.

He stops walking to look at the sky, the sun finally rises from the clouds. "No, stop giving them hope! I'm their God, not you!," he shouts to himself.

"I'm the one they should smile at and rejoice that I brought the sun back, not you!," he shouts to himself.

"Just wait, there will be no more hope for them because I'm going to kill them all. The ones that you left behind will not regrowth the Earth, I will."
