Genesis Chapter 9

Lilly goes inside the tunnel and all of the prisoners go quiet. "I see that something's happening here, so tell me have you people seen the Drifter yet?," Lilly looks and walks around each cell.

"Ivory how about you?," she asks. Ivory curses and looks at Lilly with her brown eyes, Ivory flips her green hair away from her face.

"Uh... Girl, I don't know what the fuck your talking about. It's just me, Magenta, Ginger, Aries, and Indigo," she says calmly.

"Really, I don't see Aries," Lilly says. Ivory shrugs. "Asleep in that corner over there I guess," Magenta responds. Lilly looks over at Indigo and walks to the cell.

"Where is he?," she asks quietly. Indigo looks at her. "He's asleep like Magenta said," Indigo responds.

Lilly walks away from the cells and is about to go up the tunnel until, she turns back to them and gets hit from behind.

I see the Drifter hit Lilly from behind the head and I adjust India in my arms. She squirms a little and I feel her wrap her arms around my neck.

The Drifter and Aries go down the ladder and into the cells, I look down the hole to see them drag Lilly's body away from the entrance.

The Drifter looks up at me and hands the keys to the cells to Aries. The Drifter comes back up the ladder and makes a gesture to hold India.

She picks India up from my arms and into hers, India lays her head on her mama's shoulder.

"So how the fuck are we going to get out from this place!?," I hear a female voice say from below. "Ivory, the girl who will ask questions until she gets a answer," the Drifter says to me.

The Drifter and I get out of the tunnel, and I see Aries come up with a girl with green hair.

Then I see a blonde girl come out, then a blue hair guy, and then a lavender hair girl. I am shock to see more people survived, but I still believe we are still such a small group.

"So, how far is it to the city?," the lavender girl asks to me. "It's not that far, about 3 or 5 miles back up north," I say to her. "Well let's get walking!," the blonde says.

We have been walking for over at least 10 to 20 minutes and the scenery is changing quickly. We all walk in our own pace, the Drifter, India, and the green hair girl are ahead.

As for me and the blonde are in the middle, the two guys and the lavender girl are behind.

"My nick name is Ginger," the blonde reveals. "That girl with the green hair is Ivory, the girl with lavender hair is Magenta, then the guy with blue hair is Indigo. Of course you know Aries," she says.

"My name is Skyler. So how did you guys end up in those cells?," I ask. "It's a long story, but a summary is that a lunatic called "The Dictator" wants control over us survivors of the apocalypse," she says.

I never thought of this as the apocalypse, but now it really is starting to become that word exactly. "So, why is your nickname Skyler?," Ginger asks.

"It's not a nickname, it's my name," I respond. Ginger looks at me in confusion and then asks a question. "Drifter, you forgot to tell her of the new name rule did you?," she asks the Drifter. It's a rule?

Lilly wakes up and sees him looking down at her. She smiles nervously but he doesn't crack any amusement in his face feature.

"You pathetic bitch! I give you an order to take that girl, that woman and her daughter. Yet you act like the bitch you are and deliberately don't do it!?," he yells.

He pulls out a knife and gives her one good stab in her stomach, she screams loudly and begins to cry.

Her blood spills onto her white strap shirt and into the dirt and mud of the tunnel.

She spits out blood as well, she looks at him and he scowls. "Take me to New York City, and help me find them. So I can KILL them all."
