"My turn for a question." He nodded. "What did you and I do as friends? I feel like I hardly talk to you but I want to be your friend again." I asked. I really wanted to be a friend because he seemed like he could use one sometimes, not to mention he seemed cool.

"Basically this. We'd just sit around and joke and talk. We never did anything super exciting. We just enjoyed hanging out." He told me. I nodded happily at the fact that was what we were doing right then.

"I have one more question. It's getting late. I'm tired and want to go to bed, but it's hard cause Dean's not here. I was alone a lot in the other world, but Dean talked to me before I went to bed, or Carson did. I haven't heard from Dean. Any ideas?" I asked cautiously. "I'm not trying to act like a scared little kid." I added.

"Text or call him. He's interviewing people, not anything too important to be talking to you. You don't sound like a scared little kid at all." Sam consoled. I nodded.

"Thanks for talking with me today. It was nice to have a friend for once and it was, as hard as it is, nice to bring up the memories I supposedly have of my mom. It was fun hanging out." I added. I got up and gave him a hug. "Thanks Sammy."

"No problem. I'm here for you if you need anything. You know where my room is. Goodnight. I'll see you in the morning. Try to get some sleep." He stated before giving me a brotherly kiss on the top of my head and parting ways. I walked to my room and called Dean.

"Hey. Everything ok?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah. Everything's fine. Just going to bed. I hadn't heard from you and it's hard to go to sleep without talking to you first." I explained.

"Good. Glad everything is ok. I don't have a lot to say. I got the cops handled and I talked to the only survivor. They're describing it as a werewolf so my hunch is right. We have a witness plus 3 families to talk to tomorrow but that's it." He told me.

"Good. Thanks for taking care of some of this before hand. I miss you though."

"I miss you too, babe. Try to get some sleep."

"I will. I love you, Dean. Don't stay up too late worrying about hunt stuff. Get some sleep too."

"I'll get some sleep. Don't worry. I love you too. Goodnight, Anna."

"Goodnight." I replied sleepily. I hung up, put my phone on the table and was out like a light.

I woke up to the sound of Sam shouting my name. I got up out of bed and went to the door. "Yeah Sam? Is everything ok?" I frantically asked. I was hoping he hadn't heard something bad about Dean.

"Yeah, just I've been calling you for the past almost 10 minutes to get you up but you weren't answering. I was worried." He explained.

"Oh. Why didn't you just come in and shake me until I woke up?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"It's your room. It's not my place to barge in." He stated.

"You could have. It's ok. I wouldn't have been creeped out." I told him. He nodded. I went back in and changed into actual clothes then went back out. We drove out to meet Dean.

"Hey babe." Dean spoke up once we arrived.

"Hey. So what's the plan?" I asked.

"The three of us will do the interviewing we need to, then Sam and I will go hunt this thing." I agreed. I knew I wasn't gonna hunt with them, but at least pretending to be an FBI agent was something I could do. We went to all the houses of the victims and talked to their families. All the victims were girls. The families all said that their daughters had called them from the same highway and said they had flat tires and were working on it when a guy showed up and wanted to help. Normally that's pretty harmless but that's when they got mauled by a wolf of some kind. The one survivor said that it was a nice guy who said that he was going for a hike in the woods and saw that she needed help. We knew whoever was was definitely a werewolf.

We regrouped back at the hotel Dean had stayed at. "So what's the plan?" Sam asked.

"I don't know. We've gotta figure out who the next victim will be or search for him in the woods." Dean replied.

"I have an idea." They looked at me expectantly. "Why don't we drive out to the highway and stage a flat tire. I'll stand at the car and act like I don't know what I'm doing. Once he shows up, you guys can come in and kill him." I suggested.

"No way." They both said.

"Why not? I want to help. People are gonna die if we don't stop him." I asked. I just wanted to help and do something important.

"Can I speak with you for a second?" Dean asked. We stepped outside. "Have you lost your mind?"

"What?"

"Why are you so insistent on getting yourself killed? You're crazy if you think I'm letting you do this."

"Dean, I just want to help. Innocent people are gonna die if we don't do something fast. You can hide right off the side of the road and attack the second something happens. I know you're scared about killing me again. I get it, but I just want to help." I told him. He contemplated for a moment before finally giving in.

"Alright, but if either of us tell you to do something like move out of the way or if we pull the plug partway through, please listen. This is super dangerous." We walked back in to Sam. "We're doing her plan. We'll set it up so she's as safe as possible. She just wants to help."

"Ok. If you think we can keep her safe, then we'll do it." He replied. Dean nodded. We got in the car Sam and I took since there was no way Baby's tires were getting flattened, and headed out.
