Chapter 6

6 months. We have been together 6 months and I’m so happy I could fly. Matt is just perfect, and he loves me. He loves me! Suddenly the front door opened and I spun around.

“Think of the devil and he shall appear.” I mutter.

“Thinking about me were you?” He said, grinning. “And isn’t the expression ‘Speak of the devil and he will appear?”

“Meh, whatever. I don’t want to be rude but what are you doing here?”

“Aww, Bumblebee. Are you not glad to see me?” he said, acting offended. I shook my head. “Anyway, I’m not here to see you, I’m here to see Will.” I was in shock. He and Will didn’t get along at all. He obviously saw that look and spoke. “Bumblebee, you know I love you more than anything but I really need to talk to you best friend. It’s quite important.” I was, by this point extremely confused. But I didn’t need to worry about it because I trusted him.

“That’s fine. I’ll get out of your way.” I said, getting up and heading to the door. He grabbed my arm, stopping me.

“Are you sure? I mean, I don’t want you to leave upset.” He sounded a bit worried.

“Baby, I’m fine. Honestly.” I told him being completely honest. He must have seen the truth behind my eyes because he kissed me and wondered upstairs, towards Willow’s room. I opened the front door and ran out to my car.

Willow’s P.O.V:

I was so happy for Soph. She had the guy of her dreams- even though I don’t particularly like him- and the best friend she could ask for! I’m only joking, but I am incredibly glad that she’s happy. Matt and her have really been trying to help out Connor and Emma. After Emma told her parents Connor ended up with another blooded nose and Emma got kicked out. I thought that was really harsh but what could we do about it?  We all try our best. Buying groceries and necessities for them. Lending them money when they needed it and getting them set up with a job. We really tried although it wasn’t always easy. Breakaway Witch has been doing extra gigs to help support them. Connor’s mum is being really helpful as well. She has been paying for the doctors bills and all that jazz. They are going to keep the baby. Connor is adorable around his girl. Very protective and  always hugs her gently then puts his hand on her belly- which is getting bigger, much bigger.

I was rearranging my CDs, in deep thought about Connor and Emma when I heard someone knock on the door.

“Come on in.” I called out. I saw the door open and Matt walk in. “What do you want?” I asked impatiently. I really didn’t like the fact that him and Soph were so close. I didn’t like the fact that he could just drop her at any time and run off with some girl.

“I need a favour. I know what happened to her parents and I know that you do too.” I was surprised and also a little hurt that he knew. I was the only person that she’d ever told about what happened to her parents. “I know that you don’t like me but this is important. You are the closest thing that Sophia has to family and she means the world to me.”

“Why are you telling me-”

“I am telling you this because before I say this, I want you to understand why I am saying it.” I was really confused. “If you’ll let me finish, I would like to ask you a question. I would really appreciate it if you didn’t freak out and run off like a mad person. So, will you let me ask away?” I nodded. He pulled a velvet box out of his pocket and opened it to reveal a beautiful ring with a large, square diamond surrounded ny smaller ones. It was breathtaking. “Do I have your permission to marry Sophia?” he asked softly. I gulped.
