Chapter 28

Noel's POV

"What's happening?" I ask hastily walking down the hall, Haden beside me.

"They want to have dinner with you," he states, handing me a tiny slip of paper that seems to look like an invitation.

"And we still don't know why they are here?" I questioned.

It was weird for vampires to visit us especially, members of the royal family. They have only visited us once before and that did not end well.

"It's probably in there" he motioned to the note," if not then I have no clue." He states walking into my office.

I groaned and turned to Haden, "okay thank you, please notify me if anything else changes."

"Will do." Haden gives me a nod and then leaves my office.

I take a seat on my leather desk chair and open up the invite,

I know this comes as a surprise to you, but I would like to invite your pack to a dinner party tomorrow night at my new Castle, AL Monte. Our clan has decided to settle down here and I hope that we will become best of neighbors.

I also hear that you have found your mate and that she is a special wolf if you know what I mean,  or if you don't. We would be delighted to meet her.

Hope you will be able to attend

I roughly run my fingers through my hair. How did he know? I was one of the only people who knew. only myself, her mom and dad knew about it. Her mom had only told me a few weeks ago and begged me not to tell her. 

I groaned in frustration, I know I need to tell Serena before someone else does, but how? She was going to flip.

Hey Serena did you know that you're the last white moon goddess? Yeah no, I can't do that.

How would I tell her that every werewolf hunter in the country is currently hunting for her, or how no other normal wolf can send a location mind link or can hear things from as far away as she can. She thought that was normal. 

If anyone saw her they would immediately know. No other wolf has the beautiful snow-white fur as she does.

I don't know how she will take it but I needed to tell her before someone else did.

It seemed like hours later when I woke up from my nap. But it was really only 30 minutes.

I stretched out in my bed letting out a slight moan at the feeling of my muscles stretching and looked over at the clock.

6:15

My stomach growled loudly signaling that I need to eat. I stretched once more and got out of bed.

As I walked over to the bathroom I caught sight of myself in the mirror I nearly screamed. I had deep purple bags under my eyes and my hair was disheveled. When had I forgotten all about makeup frik.
