Noel's POV
"I was waiting for my mate!" She shouted.
I slung my head, she had no idea how bad and hurt I felt about rejecting her. I had too, I knew that my dad wouldn't approve and he would only hurt her if I didn't. It was for her own safety.
I was unable to bring myself to look into her hurting eyes, "You have to know that I didn't want to reject you, your still my mate."
I knew she wouldn't understand but anything to ease the pain I knew she felt because I felt it too.
"No, I'm not," she said angrily, " you rejected me so now I'm just a girl without a mate."
" Sere-"
"Let's just stop talking about this please," she pleaded. I could almost see her heart breaking and it pained me too see her so hurt.
I nodded.
"I think I'm just going to go." she said getting up.
This was not how I planned the night I wanted to talk and get over everything, I couldn't tell her about my Dad but maybe I could have explained a bit better, but now I could tell that she didn't want to hear any of it.
I was about to plead her not to leave when I saw a familiar face walk through into the opening of the cave.
"Robert?"
