Library Love by kpgcatlover
"You know I'd do anything for you Angel." - Leo Steele
(Code: 15596646 or read by clicking on the external link)
Overview:
Dewey Decimal Daniels.
That isn't a name you would expect a girl to have, is it?
Thanks to her parents, who first met at the small town's library, she's stuck with the name. But no matter how ironic it may be, she's absolutely in love with the library. She volunteers there as much as she possibly can during the summer and school months.
This summer wasn't supposed to be any different. She was only going to volunteer, and read, nothing more, nothing less. Until the last book she had to read, was checked out by the town's well-known delinquent, Leo Steele. What will happen when he ends up losing the book before he can return it?
Well, let's just say they're both going to have one crazy summer of adventure, books, and maybe a bit of love.

“We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love - true love.” (Robert Fulqhum, True Love) A unique gem whose sparkle has captured the hearts of all who dare read its beauty. Handcrafted with love and thought, every chapter reveals a new side to this diamond. A journey passed down from the generations before, with hope that it will someday continue its path elsewhere. A book with loving words, special moments and some weird times; it seems this jewel has brought the meaning of love alive. A breathe of fresh air from the typical cliches. A bad boy and a good girl, who knew a library could bring love between them. Like two words they complete each other to create what is known as 'Library Love'...

Questions about the author...
When did you start writing?
I started writing at the beginning of 2012 :)
How would you describe your writing style?
I guess I could describe my writing as fluid and descriptive.
Which song describes who you are? What’s your favourite verse?
American Honey by Lady Antebellum! My friends used to tell me the song was basically a definition of me. Anyway, I don't really have a favorite verse in the song...
What’s your favourite idiom about love, life and friendship?
Sometimes the smallest things are the most important.
Who are the special people in your life?
Definitely my family members, and my cats (if they count as people).

Questions about 'Library Love'...
What inspired you to create a character like Dewey and Leo?
Hmm... Well, they just sort of happened - if that makes any sense. When I sat down to write Library Love, I already knew I wanted to have a pretty much innocent main character and a bad-ish kind of boy who wasn't all bad. And as I wrote, their characters continued to develop into what they are now.
What do you think is unique about your story?
I stayed away from the cliché - for the most part. I wrote about topics and events that most books don't, and I tried to make my characters and settings as quirky and different as possible.
Tell me something which nobody knows about Dewey and Leo.
OHHH!! :D Okay, so, Dewey and Leo had their first official date in the mountains north of town. Crazy place, but they had lots of fun. Leo had set up a rock climbing lesson for the two of them. Except... Dewey didn't want to climb up since she's afraid of heights, but Leo coached her through it and they made it. :)
One sentence to describe the relationship between Dewey and Dusty.
Dusty and Dewey never have a dull moment.
What trait of Leo can you most relate to?
He's very good with kids, and I like to think I am too since every time I hang out with my cousins (all under the age of 7, except one) they stick to me like glue :) Literally, I have to hold one on each arm at all times.
Which trait of Dewey do you most like?
I like how Dewey is a MAJOR book worm, and definitely comes across in the book.
Have you used any of your own experiences in the book?
Yes, actually, I have. Just a couple. Like being on a Ferris Wheel, or go-carting. (And yes, I did actually crash a go-cart and ended up with a bruise on my shoulder. IT HURT!)
Which section did you most enjoy writing and why?
Chapter 8 at the boardwalk! :D That was literally my favorite, which is why I divided it up into two parts, so I could make it as long as I wanted <3
Is there a message in your book that you want your readers to understand?
Umm... Not really, no.
One word to describe your book: Unique
A message to your fans: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Every single one of you fans out there reading this have made a huge impact on my life, and it means so much to me that you would take the time to read my work and vote and even comment! I hope you'll all continue to read my work as I post it on Wattpad :')
