Overview:
Gangs.
That was the one thing that had ruined Evelyn Summers life since the start.
With her brother being the leader of “The London's Eyes,”growing up in a world of cruelty was something Evelyn Summers had to become accustomed to.
But thing's about to get a whole lot worse.
Gangs are starting to form all over London- with the intention of destroying London's Eyes.
What will happen when the leader of the most powerful gang offers protection in exchange for Evie?
Will Evie be able to survive Sebastian King?
She just might have to- because as we all know, Sebastian isn't planning on letting her go any time soon.

Our breaths were heavy and ragged, our chests skimming against each other. "You're no good for me." I whispered, my eyes searching his emotionless ones. "Well that's just too bad, now is it?"

“I know everything and nothing about him all at the same time.” ― Megan Hart, Broken
“I start to see that I surround myself with broken people; more broken than me. Ah, yes, let me count your cracks. Let's see, one hundred, two... yes, you'll do nicely. A cracked companion makes me look more whole, gives me something outside myself to care for. When I'm with whole, healed people I feel my own cracks, the shatters, the insanities of dislocation in myself.” ― Julie Gregory, Sickened: The Memoir of a Munchausen by Proxy Childhood
Everyone experiences life differently. Everyone has their own ways of living their life. A dark journey of two broken souls surrounded in a place which they can never escape. Filled with strong emotions which are beautifully portrayed, it explores the darker side of love and life.

Questions about the author...
When did you start writing?
I started writing when I was about 13 or so, maybe even twelve. I had always wanted to write a little book, like the ones I have here on Wattpad, but I could never find the time.
How would you describe your writing style?
It really changes with every story, but if I'm not trying to amuse the readers, I tend to try to manipulate their emotions so that they feel what my characters feel.
Which song describes who you are? What’s your favourite verse?
'Between the bars', by Elliot Smith. My favorite verse is: "The potential you'll be, that you'll never see," because people constantly tell me how much potential I have, yet I am too consumed by my own insecurities and self-hatred to notice.
What’s your biggest inspiration in life?
Other writers. I read so many books, that it all kind of comes together as one in my head, and through those books I am inspired to write.
Who are the special people in your life?
My family, is shockingly not on this list. I have many bad relationships and very few ones of value.

Questions about 'Million Dollar Man'...
What inspired you to create a character like Evelyn and Sebastian?
I was feeling depressed and sad one day, and the idea of Evelyn popped into my mind. Where Sebastian came from, I couldn't tell you even if I wanted to.
What do you think is unique about your story?
With Million Dollar Man, there are few cute, heart warming scenes, all of which are fleeting and very rare.
Tell me something which nobody knows about Sebastian and Evelyn.
Evelyn suffers from a severe amount of depression-- something that will become more obvious in the next few chapters, and Sebastian- well, I'm not exactly sure.
What trait of Sebastian can you most relate to?
His undeniable annoyances and rage he experiences.
Which trait of Evelyn do you most like?
How incredibly cold and bitchy she is.
Have you used any of your own experiences in the book?
Yes, because those are the ones most easiest to write.
Which section did you most enjoy writing and why?
Maybe when she first met Sebastian because I had originally planned it so much more different.
How does the title relate to the story?
You'll see in either chapter 18 or 19
Is there a message in your book that you want your readers to understand?
Without the fundamental building blocks of a relationship- love and compassion- it's nearly impossible to form relationships with others, and grow and prosper as a person.
Your favourite quote from the book that sums it up or describes either Evelyn or Sebastian.
"From the very second we enter the world we know nothing but love. Unfortunately, in order to survive we must be altered and molded into something this world will accept. Innocence is lost and I swear to you it can never be found."
One word to describe your book:
Morbid/ Thrilling/ Unusual
A message to your fans:
My fans are the only reason I write, and for that, I love them more than anything in the world.

Thank you Julia for an amazing interview and bit more of an insight to 'Million Dollar Man'. It's definitely different to the several cliche books that can be found here but that's why we love it so much. There's a darker part to all of us which has been greatly explored in MDM.
