Questions about the author...
When did you start writing?
I was ten when I first attempted to write a novel, basically. It was about a girl who had leukaemia, and her best friend died trying to save her. Suffice to say, it was horrible and I had no idea what I was writing. But I began posting online officially when I was fifteen, on a site called Buzzle.
How would you describe your writing style?
Shite? Just kidding, it depends. For Cherry Knots, I'm hoping my writing style is decent, semi-descriptive, reflective and light-hearted. That's how I see it anyway. And as for novels on my other account, such as No Sparks Required and 99% Irresistible, they're basically easy reads and funny (I hope).
Which song describes who you are? What’s your favourite verse?
Pompeii, by Bastille, I think, and it's got to be this line: "But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?" There are so many times when I feel like the world and people around me change, and it honestly scares me, because I like things staying the way they are.
What’s your biggest inspiration in life?
Music, mostly. I love when I hear a song and then come up with this crazy idea that just needs to be penned down. Other than that, it'd probably be real life events around me, my friends, the conversations they have, etc.
Who are the special people in your life?
My family, friends (both online and in real life), and my followers.
