The Suvivors

I sit down taking my place on the bus next to my best friend Bridie. Her gleaming smile welcomed me. I felt happy on the bus whenever Im with her. Today me Bridie, Lana, Mia, Jackson, Dontae and Michael were going to catch a bus up to the moutains so we could do a little hiking. We are the total gang. The bus pulled away from my stop, there were two more stops before we head up the moutains. After what felt like hours we made it to the next stop picking up Jackson and Dontae. They smiled happily at me and Brides (Bridies nickname).

"Heya girls" said Jackson taking the seat opposite me and taking his backpack from his back and placing it gently on the ground.

"Hi" I say happily knowing that the gang will soon be fully back together again.

"Hi Jackson and Dontae are you exited?" Asked Bridie happily as always.

"Yeah, I guess so" says Dontae not to bothered. Always laid back. That must be why we all like him. I watch as he's still standing about to take his seat when the bus jumped to life causing Dontae to fling into Jackson.

"Hey watch it" says Jackson irritated but immediately forgives him. Me and Brides give a light giggle. Seven minutes later we arrived at Lana, Mia and Michael's stop. They came on and kindly greeted us. Mia and Lana took the seats to my right whilst Michael took the seat to Jackson's left. I grab out my Iphone6 and take a pic of us all on the bus. We all pulled silly faces, Brides stuck out her tongue and made a silly face, whilst Dontae went cross eyed, Jackson done some sort of a Rock Star face. Mia and Lana both put up the surfer hand, and Michael doing a Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa? face, i wasnt in the pic.

After what felt like hours which was really 12 minutes I looked up from my phone. I saw Michael flirting with a really hot girl, and Dontae and Jackson were in a deep conversation and of course theres Brides and Lana on their phones whilst Mia just gazed happily out of a window. I turned off my phone for now and looked out of the window myself. The scenery was beautiful, great tall pine trees and a river and flowers and plants of every size, colour and shape. The bus came to a stop but the doors did not open. The bus driver got out from his seat and walked to the middle of the bus to make an announcement.

"This is the breathtaking forest at the bottom of the moutains this forest has been here untouched by tree cutters for around about 344 years it is a sacred place of healing and forgiving" says the bus driver his tone seemed like he was reading a script straight off the paper. "For all Greeks on this bus trip this is the place believed to be were Greek Goddess Artemis was born" he continued dully. He got back into the driving seat and kicked the bus to life and off we went slowly going up the mountain.
