Estelle's POV
"Ok well with Michael gone we are now able to do more things" says Brides
"Umm...ok" I say smiling.
"So Dontae, it's getting dark, where's the best place to build a shelter?" Asks Mia
"Well, a lot of animals will be down on the forest floor, so thaat means we want to be off the ground" He says whilst pointing upwards towards the forest canopy.
"Omfgg (Oh my fantastic greek gods) we should have a shelter building competition, we each work in pairs to create a shelter for both of them" I say happily whilster beaming at Brides.
"Yes, good idea" Says Jackson
"Yeah" says Lana
"Okkk, me and Brides are pairs" I say happily.
"Me, Dontae and Hamish are a trio" says Jackson
"Yay, we are pairs" says Lana talking to Mia.
"Ok, lets go" Says Dontae. We all walk off, each geading in slightly different directions. I almost instantly walk over to some thick fallen tree branches. I gather up 6 or 7 then hand them to Bridie.
"Ok so Brides as I was walking over here I noticed a really cool tree with three thick branches spreading out in different directions, climb up it and place down these branches on the mini platform part" I tell her while handing over the branches and pointing to the tree.
"Ok, but won't we need something to hold the branches together to make a stronger platform?" She questions.
"Yep" I say turning my back on her and walking over to another tree and ripping off some of the bark. It was a special bark almost like vines (not that type of vines, you people 😜) I grab around 5 long strips and then run over to the tree where Brides was. I throw the bark onto a tree branch and climb up.
"This should be high enough" says Brides proudly.
"Yep" I agree. Then I slowly walk along the thick tree branch to retrieve my bark ropes. Pieces of unhelpful bark fall from the tree and lands on Hamish's head.
"Ouch" he says while rubbing his head.
"Sorry" I say my voice high pitched in fear of if I fall.
"Woah, be careful" he says whilst picking up a stone and pretending to take aim and throw it at me.
"Don't you dare" I say, suddenely my foot slips, I cling to the tree branch for life but realised I wasn't falling.
"Hahahahaha" laughs Hamish so much that he slips on wet bark.
"Hahahahahaha" I reply his laughter.
"Oww" he says while rubbing his back and smiling.
"Yo Stella, you got that bark yet, I could really use it" yells Brides.
"Coming" I yell back slightly upset. I take 3 more balanced steps and grabs the bark and slowly walk back with Hamish watching me the whole time, weird.
"Ok I got the bark, just hold those 3 branches straight and then I will tie it at both ends" I say distracted.
"That's what I'm doing right now" she says annoyed.
"Opps, sorry" I apologise. We finish tieing the platform and making it strong enough to hold our wait plus Lana. I brush my hands proud with our hard work.
"Ok, what's with you and Hamish?" Asks Brides abruptly sitting down on the platform, ready to listen.
Please comment people, I will not be able to write another chapter because my idea's of what can happen in the forest with the gang are running low. An original idea is that they get attacked by a bear, but I want something calming to happen before, please leave comments, because it will help this story get finished faster, and you can also say you contributed to this story ;)
