When the saying 'I have your back' really comes into reality.

As the bus continued going up the steep path I struggle to try break the steady silence, I look amongst my friends they look bored out of their minds. I seriously want to break the silence in our little group.

"So umm i wonder when we will get there" I say quietly.

"Yeah" replies Mia but says nothing more. Failing to break the ghostly silence I listen to the chatter amoung the people around our litle group. Most of them are just talking about Instagram, Nike Shoes, Family, The mountain and new cinema movies. None of those topics seemed quite interesting so I try to take in the landscape. I gaze quietly out the bus window. I look at how high we already were we are probally just over half way up. Overwhelmed I sit back in my seat peacefully, thinking about the adventure that was about to take place. When suddenly this adventure starts heading in a completely new direction. The bus starts to skid out of control, everyone starts to panic. I hear screams as we dangerously skid close to the edge of the road, about to fall off the side of the clif at any moment in time.

"Help us" I hear someone scream. Like that's going to help us. I see some people praying with tears in their eyes. I start to cry to as this might be the end of all our lives. I look up at Brides and Mia who had risen from their seats. Toppling ontop of other people as the bus shakes uncontrollably. A drunken man who really shouldn't have been on this bus in the first place smashes into the glass door. The glass shattering everywhere. The drunken man had fallen out of the bus and rolled down the cliff. His bloody body covered with bits of glass.

The bus driver still trying so hard to get the bus under control as the bus speeds around a corner the gravel slidding underneath the buses weight. Now extremely cautious of the broken glass door I rise to my seat. Lana, Michael, Jackson and Dontae do the same. I watch as Brides eyes glint with a idea that could either cost us life or death. Noticing me gazing into her eyes she slowly shuffles towards the glass door. The rest of us follow, despite constantly being bumped into be the panicked people we managed to make our way to the glass door. Without warning Brides jumps out of the bus and almost instantly I jump after her.

As my body hit the hard gravel I roll along the hard ground. At first I couldn't feel the pain but right on que there it was. My body felt broken like having knifes stabbing into my skin from every direction. I had stopped rolling just lying there waiting for death to take me, suddenely I feel a hard body roll into my side. I slowly open my eyes not knowing I had closed them and I glance at the body that had rolled into me. It was Jackson. I felt a rush of relif come over me that Jackson had jumped and hopefully the rest of my friends did too.

"J-Jackson...please be alive" I stutter as I try to sit up right. I notice that he's breathing, thank God. I suddenly remember something. I forgot about Bridie! I stumble to my feet. I look up the road to see Lana, Mia and Michael's bodies lying on the hard gravel road. I turn around looking down the road to find Brides. She was sat with her back against a rock, her leg bleeding and cuts on her forehead and her arm badly scratched. But she was definitely alive. I notice Jackson slowly waking up. He isnt as badly injured as Bridie but his arm looked real bad.

"W-what happened b-back there?" He asked as I helped him to his feet.

"I don't really know myself all I know is that we jumped out of a bus" I replied as my nose started to bleed. Slowly making our way to Brides I notice a throbing pain in my leg. I look down and see my leg bleeding and was covered in tiny bits of gravel and sharp cuts. "Brides you ok? That was so brave of you" I exclaim.

"T-thanks" was all she could really say. I can totally understand that. "Did the others jump?" Brides asks glancing at Jackson's limping body. Noticing the question was to Jackson not me I decide not to answer.

"Y-yes they all did but they look dead or badly injured" he replied. Me and Brides exchanged glances then deciding to try and find the others we limp up the road to help Mia and Lana. We slowly struggled up the road falling a few times. But somehow each time someone fell over we became stronger because we were always going to be there to always have their backs at their time of need.
