Bridie's POV

I sit down and waited, I wouldn't say I patiently waited because that isn't like me at all. I watch as Stell just gives me her very familiar confused gaze.

"What?" She questions trying to find a way out of the sudden situation she is in.

"What's with you and Hamish?" I repeat, loosing patience slightly.

"Nothing, we only just met" She says whilst climbing higher in the tree.

"Yeah I know that but I saw the way you acted" I say whilst climbing up after her.

"You have got to be kidding me, he attacked us, remember" She says whilst looking at me with a look that I liked and hated. If looks could speak she qould be saying; Are you kidding me right now, we only just met and you think I like him. Yep, so happy looks can't speak right now.

"Ok then" I say, not quiet giving up yet. I climb back down and jump out of the tree. I walk over to Mia's and Lana's shelter, my jaw dropped.

"Woahhhhh" I say in awe, "this is AMAZING" I say in shock, then I think back to my own disaster of a shelter, yep, they won.

"Thanks" says Mia while picking up big ferns,"can I see yours?"

"Umm, I don't think you really want to, yours is WAY better" I say embarrassed by my failure of a shelter.

"Oh c'mon I'm sure it isn't that bad" Says Mia, not really letting the subject drop.

"Yeah yours is pretty good Bridie" says Lana whilst climbing down her tree.

"Thanks but it really isnt" I say.

"Whatever you say" says Lana whilst waking over to the boys.

"Fine Mia you can go look" I say in defeat.

"Oh thanks" says Mia and walks off. I walk over to the boys, nearly tripping on a tree branch. Good thing nobody saw that.

I look over to where the boys are and I look around for their shelter.

"Umm guys, where's you're shelter?" I ask unsure of its whereabouts.

"It's in this tree" says Jackson.

"All I see is a giant clump of twigs and branches" I reply squinting my eyes from the low sun.

"Yeah, that's it" says Hamish, budding in.

"Oh" I say and walk back to my own shelter.

"How are the others shelters?" Asks Stell.

"Umm, well Mia and Lana haave definitely won, we came second and the boys just have a clump of things in a tree" I say as my mind drifts back to our own shelters appearance.

"Wow, we should upgrade then, well I have made us some sort of a room to protect us from rain" Calls Stell from the platform. I begin to climb up the tree.

"What rain?" I ask as I look around the dry forest, with not a single sign of rain in sight.

Then it began to rain.

"What did I say?" Says Stell smirking at me as she pulls me up onto the platform.

"Ha ha, very funny" I say as I sit on the platform with my back against the tree. We watch as the others climb into their shelters. Mia and Lana using a large hole in their tree to sfay warm, the boys just climb into their blob of a shelter. We all patiently waited out the rain.

Then the temperature dropped significantly. I begin to shiver, but of course Stell stays warm.

"You're so lucky you're immune to the cold" I say whilst my teeth begin to chatter.

"I guess so" She replies whilst hugging her knee's and looking at the others as they done the same. I look at Stell through the corner of my eye, I watch as a tear begins to form.

"What's wrong" I ask softly, deeply concerned for her.

"What if we dont make it back home?"  She asks softly as the tear trails down her cheek, "what if we're lost forever?"

"We won't be" I reply softly as I wrap an arm around her.

"How can you be so sure?" She asks, looking me in the eyes.

"I don't know..." I reply as I face towards the others.

Estelle's POV

I feel a tear slide down my cheeks and drop onto my knee, what if we're here forever, what if we die here. I begin to loose hope when suddenly I hear the softest and most beautiful sound. I look over to Bridie who was singing Titanium. Her voice sounding like an angels and filling me with hope. I begin to sing with her as our voices echo the forest.

"You shoot me down, but I won't fall, fire away, fire away" I sing with her softly, then another voice joins and then another and then we were all singing. Our voices sounding like a melody in the forest as the rain comes down lightly on the leaves. The smell of the fresh forest fills me with courage and the sound of the rain fills me with happiness.

The fresh smell opens my eyes to the beauty around me, so fresh so bright. We finish our song, the rain also stopped shortly after as though the forest was singing with us...
