Devon:

"Ok class, please walk quietly to the gym for the assembly," my geography teacher announced. Fuck yeah. I thought. I told the school, and Mrs. Pepper told me that they would announce Mr. Gilinsky getting fired, it would just all be announced.

Walking there, I saw Emily. I glared at her, making her give me a weird look. Little does she know her secret will be out.

"Alright everybody! How is everyone doing?" Mrs. Pepper asked. Groans were heard from the crowd. Just get on with it! Nobody wants to listen to you stalling.

"Alright well, we have a very big announcement to make. And it's not your regular good announcement, this one is something very...shocking. I was shocked myself when I had heard this." she started. She sighed before speaking. "One of our very nice and courageous teachers has been arrested."

I heard gasps come from everyone. "Yes, yes, I know. Now let me tell you why they were arrested. Mr. Gilinsky was arrested last night; for statutory rape. In other words, for having a sexual relationship with one of his students. He will no longer be teaching here. Some of you may not know him, but he was a very good teacher."

"I'm not sure why he would do such a thing, but that is none of our business. Before anyone asks, yes, we do know who the student it, but her name will not be shared. Since she is a minor and we are not allowed to give that information out."

"I was told that it had happened close to the time school had started for the year. He would ask the student to meet him after class, where he would talk dirty to her, they would kiss, and sexually interact. It had been going on for about four months until I was told about this,"

"We have never had anything like this happen at our school. This is the first. And I surely hope that this will be the only time,"

"Now, if you have any idea or you know the student that was involved in this, do not, and I mean, DO NOT harass her, or call her names. Sure, it may be tempting for some of you to do that, and that's not ok. I am very aware that this is just really wrong, but that does not give you the right to harass her. If I hear any of that going on towards the student, I will start expelling people,"

"I can not give any other information about this situation. If anybody has any serious questions then, they can ask me. I will be happy to answer the questions I can and am allowed to answer. Thank you everyone and have a good day,"
