             It's come to that time of year again... when the girls start racing to the gym and seek out the cutest boy in the building in hopes for a prom date. You sigh as you see yet another girl getting asked with a big sign with a giant teddy bear and candy. You and your friends plop down onto your usual lunch table and pull out your lunches, while everyone is gnawing on vegetables and drinking water you're pigging out on your favorite barbeque chips with a Dr. Pepper in hand. You usually weren't self conscious about the whole entire situation but it was your senior prom and you wanted to have a lot of fun. Scrolling through your phone you desperately search through endless websites trying to find the perfect dress. It seemed like everyone else in school had everything under control and you were the only one struggling. While you were on your phone you got a KakaoTalk [messaging app used internationally] from your best guy friend in Korea, Sehun.

"Y/N! I miss you, how have you been."

"Good Sehun! How's Korea all the training? I wish you were here :("

"Really good, I love dancing... but it's really exhausting. I wish I could see your gorgeous smile right now.."

"Hahaha... you're too kind..."

"So I see it's the beginning of prom season....."

"...yeah.. Oh I have to go, time for math class. We'll talk later."

          You hurriedly flee the conversation not wanting to deal with an awkward encounter with your childhood best friend and current crush. You refused to be stuck in an uncomfortable situation of having to talk about your lack of a prom date with him. Frustratedly shaking your head you pulled your stuff together before dragging yourself to math class.

Sehun's POV:

          Why did Y/N leave so suddenly... I really wanted to talk to her. Maybe she got a prom date and doesn't want to talk with me anymore, or she got a boyfriend. Why did I have to leave her all alone, all I ever think about is her nowadays.

"Sehun, yo let's go, we have to practice for our comeback." Suho called into the practice room.

            You pulled yourself off the floor and tossed your phone into your bag before racing into the room next door warming up for rehearsals. Sweat drips down your face as the practice runs on for hours on end, you didn't even get to have time to check your phone and completely missed Y/N's texts.

"Sehun! Sorry I rushed off... I'm visiting next winter once I settle in at college, wait for me! :)"

"Are you mad at me? I'm really sorry... :/"

"Hunnie, did I do something bad?"

"ARGH, I'm just going to assume you're busy practicing."

Y/N POV:

"Argh, I am so frustrated." You groan as you sit in front of your desk trying to figure out your calculus problems while thinking about Sehun. All you could think about was why he suddenly had the necessity to text you during prom week! What happened... what is going on. You tried to find your focus and worry about him later and shifted towards prom dress shopping. You planned to go with your mom to a dress boutique in a couple of hours and excitedly jumped around as you waited.
