Breakfast in Bed (Minseok)

You had a long week, an exhausting one for that matter. Everyday for the past week you had been up late studying for your exams and scrambling to finish the never-ending pile of work that kept growing everyday after classes. The minute you checked one thing off your list, another professor added two things. The exhaustion of staying up till 4 am was starting to get to you and Minseok could see the effect it was taking as you pulled yourself out of your shared bed and reluctantly pulled on clothes in order to tackle another day at school. He was starting to miss his smiling girl who would curl into his lap every evening, so he called in a sick day for practice and decided to make you breakfast in bed this weekend just to surprise you.

Quietly walking in to your shared bedroom with a platter of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast with your favorite black coffee he carefully placed the tray on the floor before softly climbing to the other side of the bed. Nudging you softly with his nose Minseok tried to carefully awake you from your slumber, "muffin, wake up.. I got a surprise for youuuu?" he cooed lightly in your ear and smiled at your face scrunching up in annoyance.

"Minseokie... I'm sleepy... leave me allonnneee..." You pushed away his face with displeasure, you didn't have the energy to deal with his aegyo this morning.

"Y/N.. it's noon, I got a surprise for you!"

"I don't want it." You turned away from him and wrapped yourself tighter with the comforter before drifting off once again.

"Well, if that's how we're going to play it..." Minseok immediately flipped you over so that he could straddle your waist comfortably, forcing you to look at him.

With eyes barely open you saw Xiumin smiling mischievously at you, and immediately started tickling you.

"KIM MiN-SeOK.. oh.. my GOD!" You kept squirming and squealing as he pinned you to the bed leaving you powerless. "AHH you know I can't handle being tickled... nooo stoop stoop okay okay I'm awake." Xiumin smiled triumphantly before bumping his nose with yours smiling.

"Do you want your surprise now?" You quickly nodded beaming up at your boyfriend.

Minseok scurried out to the hallway before walking in with a cardboard box, that was... moving? Why was that box moving?

"Minseok, that better not be some creepy creature or something, because I will kill you..." your boyfriend smiled his signature box smile before opening the box to show you a little Samoyed puppy sitting in the bottom of the box, happily shaking its tail as it peered up at you, "so, what do you think?"

You looked at your boyfriend, back down at the puppy, and then squealed before wrapping your arms around him tightly, "You got me a Samoyed puppy? Minseok!!! These things are crazy expensive what were you thinking!! Not that I don't love it but oh my god he's so cute I can't, what's his name? Does he have a name? Can we name him? Is this our first kid together??" Minseok couldn't help but smile at the glimmer that was back in your eye, there was his girl. "I got us a puppy because I think he'd be good company while I'm away on tours, no he doesn't have a name, and yes we can name him, and definitely he's our first kid of many."

You couldn't help yourself from breaking out into the biggest smile and wrapped your arms around Minseok tightly, as always his embrace was warm and comforting like being wrapped up in the fuzziest blanket and gave you constant security that this boy loved you. The rest of the day was spent playing with your new puppy until both you and Simba fell asleep curled up in each other's arms on the bed. Minseok couldn't help himself from quietly looking at you as you slept cuddling Simba closer to you. He gently skated his fingers across your face, tracing your nose, eyes, then finally to your lips before gently gracing them with a kiss. You couldn't help yourself from smiling as you woke up from your nap, it was small moments like these where you fell more and more in love with this boy. You loved the way the two of you could stare into each other's eyes in complete silence, not uttering a single word, but knowing what the other was thinking just by the glint in each other's eyes. You were sure this boy could see every acne scar, pimple, and freckle dotting your face but it didn't stop him from looking at you like you were the only girl in the world for him. It was easy with you two, it was natural the way Minseok's fingers and legs intertwined with yours and how comfortably your heartbeat fell into rhythm with his, and you had begun to cherish mornings like this with him.

He couldn't help himself from kissing every little imperfection you claimed to have on your face, while you giggled tickled at his sweet pecks that scattered across your rosy cheeks. He loved the sweet sounds of your laughter as it echoed through the room, the way his name rolled of your tongue like an old habit, it just felt right with you. He couldn't imagine a future without you, not when you made sure that he ate after practice and didn't stay too late in the studios and always asked you if you were home safe. Minseok never could get enough of you when he was wrapped up in your arms, it's like he couldn't get enough of you, the way you scrunched your nose as he tried to kiss you, when you squirmed away from his grasp when you were feeling insecure only to melt into his embrace, the soft content sigh that would echo into his heart as you wrapped your arms around him before falling asleep, he loved every aspect and was starting to imagine a future of mornings like this for the rest of your lives. But this time, filled with the clambering of small little feet padding through your doorway, calling to you, "Daddy!"
