Valentine Day Surprise (Chanyeol)

    Valentine's Day, you didn't expect anything at all... I mean Chanyeol was off on a world tour in the U.S. and you were stuck alone in your apartment with nothing to do.
      You bustled around the house aimlessly looking towards your phone waiting for it to ring.. "Will he text me.. When will he text me.." You hurled your phone across the room angry and frustrated for caring so much. Constantly refreshing Twitter you saw previews of him at the airport spending time with his members. "Park Chanyeol!!"
     To distract yourself you called up your best friend for a galentine's day instead. You raced out the door and was surprised to see snow falling down from the sky. "Are you kidding me, it's Valentine's Day and it's the first snow. Today's great, just great." Pounding down the staircase you huffed into your car before driving away to a nearby cafe. You quickly raced into the warm cafe and waved at your best friend waiting for you at a nearby table with your favorite hot coffee waiting.
      "Hey boo, what's up!" your best friend asks.
       "I want to strangle my boyfriend.." You grumble into your coffee
       "Still no text?? He's probably busy" She reassuringly replied.
        "He's off buying cookies while I'm waiting by the phone just aching for a text."
        You frustratedly raked your hand through your hair before aimlessly shaking your leg up and down and stared out the window. This was all you could do all day, you tried to distract yourself with books or a drama but nothing could draw your attention away from your blank phone. 
      Sighing you settled into your empty bed and fell into sleep, waiting for this bad day to end. When you woke up the next morning you simply shuffled into the kitchen and made yourself coffee before rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.
       Once the cloud of sleep cleared away you saw your regretful boyfriend standing before you. "Hi sweetie, did you miss me?"
        Before he could reach for you, you sprinted up the stairs and slammed the door. "Y/N, I'm sorry! I was on the flight all day and I was exhausted. I wanted to see you and I flew back to see you. please forgive me...."
       You crumbled under your boyfriend's tired, apologetic voice and opened the door. Moving into his warm and tired embrace you wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him close, "I'm sorry, I usually.. you know I'm not like this, I was just so frustrated and I missed you."
       "It's okay Y/N, I know... I know..." He reassuringly wrapped his arms around you and nestled your head into the crook of his neck. "Come here, I have presents."
        "But- I didn't get anything for you. I didn't think you were coming back until after your world tour with the boys."
        Chanyeol reassuringly kissed your forehead, "Don't worry about it, it's not much okay?"
        You walk hand in hand to the living room and see a huge teddy bear plopped up on the couch. Excitedly jumping on the couch you cuddled up to the bear before grinning brightly at your smiling boyfriend, "Thank you channie- I love him."
         "Don't love it too much, you still have me. And I have one more thing." Placing a box in front of you he nervously smiled before opening it.
         Inside it was his favorite ring with a chain for you to wear. "Channie, this is beautiful. But it's your favorite ring! I couldn't..."
        "I want you to have it, to wear it so you can have some part of me with you at all times. I'm sorry I'm always so busy, we haven't had a proper date night in forever." Comfortingly wrapping his arms around you, you nestled into his shoulder smiling. "I don't want anything else, I just want to spend time with you."
        Carefully carrying you up into the room, Chanyeol placed you in the bed before wrapping the comforter around the both of you. You both fell into deep sleep wrapped in each other's arms.
Chanyeol P/V:
         Sliding carefully out of the bed, I couldn't help but smile at my adorable girlfriend. Fists tightly clenched around the blanket with a faint smile ghosting your face I couldn't resist lightly kissing you on the forehead before scribbling down a quick note
     *I love you sweetie, I'll be back soon. I'll text you as soon as I land, don't miss me too much. always on my mind
