I sat against a tree out in the yard and waited. Finally it was ready, I picked it up and looked at it. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"No!!!" I cried.
"NO!!!" I cried even louder and chucked it across the yard. I put my head against the tree and cried. I heard the glass door open, but I didn't look up.
"Nikki? Are you out here?" I heard him call. I didn't say anything I just kept crying. He came around the tree and saw me. He looked worried. He sat next to me and held me in his arms.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I just shook my head and cried in to his chest. He held me while I cried. Eventually I calmed down. He lifted my head up so I was looking at him.
"You need to tell me what's wrong." He said.
"I.... I don't know how." I said with a sniffle. He smiles faintly.
"C'mon baby you can tell me anything." He says kissing my head. I took a deep breath.
"Carl..... I'm pregnant." I say. A look of shock and fear crosses his face.
"What?!?!?" He practically yells.
