I wake to the taste of blood in my mouth. My jaw aches but I seem otherwise unharmed. I force my eyes open and look around. I'm in a small gray, bland looking room. A single light shines a bit too bright from the ceiling. There's a table in front of my and a chair on the other side of it. I try to stand and realize that I'm tied to a chair. My arms are bound behind me and both of my ankles are tied to the legs of the chair. I flex my wrists to test the rope. It holds. Well this is a problem. How did I even get here? And where the hell is here anyways? I search my brain for an answer and immediately realize something. I remember absolutely fucking nothing. Hell, I can't even conjure up my own name. This is definitely a problem. Suddenly, the door to the room opens. In walks a woman along with what looks like two body guards. The gaurds stand on opposite sides of the room, both leaning against the wall and staring at me like I kicked their dog or something. they wear all black with thick kelvar and guns on their hip. They have matching buzz cuts but the one on the left is blonde and the one on the right is a brunette. I turn my attention to the woman who has now seated herself in the chair in front of me. She's a dee redhead with fair skin and peircing blue eyes. She wears a white pantsuit that makes her look elegant and commading. She leans forward and places both of her elbows on the table and lets her chin rest in her left hand while she drums her fingers on the table with her right hand.

"Good afternoon." Her tone and smile seem genuine and friendly, but considering I'm tied to a chair in what looks like an interrogation room, I doubt this is a friendly get together.

"So its afternoon, huh? I wouldn't know, considering that I am tied to a chair in a dark and gloomy room with no windows. You should really think about putting some windows in here. Might help with the whole 'you're being interrogated by creepy people' tone lighten up a bit, don't you think?" I lean backwards partly as an attempt to look casual, and partly as an attempt to take some of the stress off my shoulders which hurt like fucking hell.

The woman's smile twists a bit as if she's eaten something bitter. "So you really are as cocky as I've been told. Interesting."

I tilt my head back and smirk. "Damn, I didn't know I had such a nice reputation. Or any reputation for that matter."

She snorts. "Don't try to be modest. You know you have an incredible reputation with all your skills and experience in the field."

I sigh and roll my eyes. "Whatever the fuck is going on, I have no idea what it is, so whatever you want, you might as well come out and say it because I'm not in the mood for some this shit." She glares at me, as if trying to intimate me. I lock eyes with her and hold my ground. I may not know the who, what, where, when, and why of well anything, but I don't back down. My instincts have already started mapping out escape, deciding what would be the best way to take out the gaurds and what to do when I get out. I flick my eyes around the room, calculating. I start to work my wrists out of the bonds, I seem to have incredibly small hands and skill at doing this which makes it easy, my feet will be a problem. I start to wiggle my left foot, trying to get out of my sneaker. I have to be careful not to draw attention to my movements.

She shifts her wieght foward, leaning close to me. "We can do this the hard way, or we can do this the easy way."

I snort. "Talk about cliché. Can't you be a little more original?"

She growls. It satisfies me to know I'm making her lose her cool. My smirk grows wider. She seems to notice her loss of composure and iddmediatly regains it. She pushes foward a piece of paper and smiles. "All I need is for you to tell me everything you know about this." She taps the paper.

I look down. It looks like a bunch of abstract colors in patterns that mean absolutely nothing to me. "Aw, did your daughter make this is kindergarten? Its cute."
