Chapter two

"Ma'am Farah! Pinapatawag po kayo ni Sir Curtis" I nodded at her.

"Thanks Annie!"

I checked the time on my wristwatch,it says ten twenty one in the morning. I still have a couple of hours to spare,before I left the island to go to the school. Curtis knows that,it might not take long. I want to be at the school earlier before the parents teachers meeting. I to spend time with my kids.

"Yes Curtis? Ano ang atin?" I asked ng makapasok na ako sa opisina nito. Naupo ako sa upuan na nasa harapan ng table nito.

Curtis is really a big help for us,he became the kids father figure. I am thankful for him and to his fiancee Dina she become my friend,and also their daughter Rhuinna. Curtis is Lei's cousin,it was Lei's idea why I'm here. They are my saviour and my protector. I'm grateful for their presence in our lives. Although they still doesn't know the identity of my children's father they respect my privacy.

"What time are you leaving" tanong kaagad nito.

"Two o'clock,why?" I asked.

He was holding papers,then he looked at me.

"Can you spare an hour or so? We've got this guest booked for a week here,he's occupying the villa on top of the hills" I arked my eyebrows.

That villa on the of top of the hills is the most expensive accommodation we have in this resort. It has two open air bedrooms with main suite each. It has a private pool and Jacuzzi,kitchen,living room. It is a dreamed vacation house with luxurious facilities and amenities. It is a very private place that we can offer,most of the customer who occupied the villa are celebrities,businessmen,socialites and other rich human being who doesn't care about money from all over the world.

"Look I know you're going to town,i didn't forget that,but this won't take long,touring the guest around the island is just an hour with the help of golfcart and you're my best assets here,I rely on you with this important guests we accommodate,please Farah!"

"Fine! Stop with that face,hindi bagay sayo,you look like a retard" he made a face again and I shook my head teasing him.

"Okay! He'll arrive any minute now,do you wanna freshen up? The loo is available" he gesture his hand on right side of his office where the loo is located.

"That fast?" Shocked.

"Sorry for the short notice,biglaan din kasi ang pagbook nila,they are just lucky no one's occupying the villa until two weeks time" he explained.

"I see!"

I grabbed the chance to go inside,I haven't checked myself since I left the house and I've been around the place the whole morning. Checking and greeting the tourist who arrive and leave the island. I have to be presentable,this gueat must be really rich to afford this place. The prize of the villa is triple of her salary,it is not cheap.

Great! I forgot that my make up is on my bag and it's in my office. I rolled my eyes,then I remember I have left lipstick and lip gloss on the drawer under the sink. When I found it I quickly wash my face and apply the a lipstick. I already heard voices,must be the occupants. One last look of myself in the mirror and I left the loo.

There's a couple of men in the room except Curtis of course. From behind I can tell that they are foreigners. The guy on the left is obviously attenuated with eyeglasses on,but he looks smart. Then I noticed the guy on the right is extremely buff,I can see his muscles movement even when he is just moving an inch. He's presences screams power,domination,money.

"Oh there she is" I just suddenly felt anxious,when I heard Curtis voice.

The guy on the left look at my way,the other guy remained on his sit,must be the boss.

"Come here Farah,we've been talking about you and their stay here"

Half way to Curtis when both men stand from their sits,followed by Curtis.

"Mr Xenakis,I'd like you to meet our Guest relations manager Farah O'Donnell " I was taken aback,dumbfounded.

No! It can be,it wasn't him,right! His not the only Xenakis in the world. When I stop next to Curtis and looked at the gentlemen in front of us,I'm speechless.

"Farah,this is Mr Thaddeus Xenakis,he will occupy the villa on top of the hills,did you know that he came from one of the Greek aristocratic family that base in Athens?" I know! my mind wants to tell him "It is a pleasure to have him in our island" Curtis is overwhelmed while introducing him to me.

I looked away from him,my hands are shaky. What in the world is he doing here? Of all places in the world why here? This island might be the most expensive resort in this country but I surely know that somewhere out there is the most expensive and luxurious place he can be. The fact that he owned several islands resorts around Europe and the biggest island he owned is in Greece,it's making no sense for her why is he here?

"Miss O'Donnell?.....I've been looking forward to see you..your boss here is talking very highly of you and I am more than impressed" his thick accent that once in my life became my favorite about him. One of the reason I fell for him.

He extended a lean brown hand in front of us,I stare at it for a moment. He cleared his throat,as though we've never knew each other,I sighed.

She just stared in trepidation at the wicked angel face as if it was just a dream. Black clean cut hair,ebony brows,deep-dark of eyes that turns gold on the sunset,high cheekbones and the lips that equivalent of pure temptation. He remained provocatively drop dead gorgeous. Suddenly something down in her body clenched tightly and disturbingly. She just pressed her thighs together in surprise.

"Mr Xenakis" determined not to show any recognition,she held her chin high and briefly touch his hand.

"Thaddeus,I'm here to unwind,formality is not on my list" really!?

"And that is Robert Kenny,his personal assistant" I acknowledged the guy behind him with a nod.

He was not surprised to see her there,he knew she was there. She is mad,he knew she works there before he even came. He is not even prepared to own up to their relationship before,that is just fine with her.

"You own leisure empire in various places around Europe" she said tightly,trying to cover up the shocked she felt "why in this isolated island?"

"For a change Miss O'Donnell" he speak smoothly.

"We don't have the very high end luxurious comfort like you offers in your islands,but we make sure our guests are well taken cared off" her comment earned glance from Curtis.

"You surprise me,I didn't know you would know that things" he said without hesitation.

I'll play your game,Thaddeus,but I will make sure,I won't fell in your tricks. I've learned from my mistakes,I am very sure that you will not gonna huet me anymore,not even my children.

"You're well known in that same line of business where we are right now" she said softly,making a startled assessment from Curtis. She knew very well Curtis thinks she is getting too personal about their guest.

"You are a very sharp-witted lady" he remarked.

"Well,I have to be,most of our guests came from different lines of works,it is my job to know them and make them feel comfortable while they are here" she said smoothly.

"Farah,,,why don't you give Thaddeus a tour of our facilities here and show him the villa" he offered to ease the tension Thaddeus and I,I guess.

she nodded at Curtis.

"Believe me Thaddeus when I tell you that Farah has a brilliant mind,she can vision the future and will shock you how her mind works quickly,she's our gem" she felt her cheeks heated up on receiving that compliment. The way he always praises her in front of their important guests. But I would much appreciated if he didn't.

"A stunner and brain....I am very very impressed Miss O'Donnell" a slow smile that somehow contrived to freeze her to the core.

"Farah,,,call me Farah,Thaddeus"

"Farah,it is"
