Paradise in between chase

Chapter seven

The next morning she had awoken very early,her daughter Iyonna had a nightmare again. She lay down next to her,soothes her,that took a while before going back to sleep again.

"Mama" Iyonna drowsily murmured.

Much like to her daughter,she's tired and haven't had any sleep since she came back from the island.

It's three in the morning,she usually wake up five in the morning to get ready everything before they leave the house. 

"Shh..go back to sleep love" she run her fingers in her daughter's curly,dishivelled hair.

Iniisip pa rin niya hanggang ngayon ang mga sinabi ng lalaking umuukopa ng kanyang isipan hanggang ngayon.

If she's totally been honest to herself,she misses him. There's no other man that can make her feel like he does.

His presence,it's frightening her,every second that counts is like ticking time bomb in her mind. Her chest hammered like a thunder on a heavy storm at night.

He brought too much emotions that she longed burried at back of her mind. Now he's back,demanding her to pay a debt she never knew she did.

She travelled half way the globe,away from everything that can remind her of him. But she knew she's fooling herself,because she have the very constant reminder of him besides her for the passed five years.

Good grief! Why does he have to find her and make her feel week and useless. Isn't enough he abandoned me without telling a word and find out he's marrying someone else? Just month after he left her.

She cannot help it if Thaddeus make a move to ruin the sanctuary she's in. He have all the power to do so,right at the moment he would never listen to her explanations. She noticed the determination in his eyes every time he reminded her of her cheating allegation years ago.

Where the freaking hell did he get those ideas? For Pete's sake! She have been so faithful to him that she ignored the signs. The signs that he would never be faithful to her,that he would hurt her eventually,broke her heart into pieces. She didn't,because she was so madly in love with him to the point she already forgotten her own self.

I should have been more reasonable to those who were concern about me. But I doubt them,now I'm paying the price.

She sighed in exhaustion,she don't have any solution other than give in to his request. She can't always run to her friend asking for help every time she's in trouble. He was asking a week with her,a week of selfishness,madness and desire.

Maybe she could negotiate with him about it.

At very early in the morning she was anxious,she bussied herself getting ready her children's stuff for their school.

By the time she arrived in the island she was too occupied to even greet their employees. She went straight in her office,trying to calm he senses.

Her hands are shaky,she picked up the cordless phone mindless. She dialled the number of his villa,she groan while waiting for the ring. When it rings,she close her eyes.

"Hello?"

She almost jump when she heard his bedroom voice,memories started floating in her mind. His morning voice is one of her weaknesses same as his morning looks,lazy smile and his warm body around hers.

She felt that familiar tingling sensation just thinking about it.

"Kyria mou? Is that you?" How? I..

"Y..ea..ahm...yeah,it's me,sorry if I disturb you"

God,get a hold of yourself Farah!

"No,not at all,to whom do I owe this call" she can hear the raffling sounds,must be the blanket.
