Chapter thirteen

"So kung tutuusin maswerte pa pala ako sayo,though George asked for his dad at eighteen months old already,I can understand what you felt when Aia asked about her father"

"I felt so horrible that time,like I did not do my part as a mother that's why she was looking for a father,I feel so small,it was not enough for them,it will never be" tears pooled on her eyes.

Lei covered my hands with hers.

"Shh..ate,ginawa mo ang lahat para sa mga bata,nauunawaan ko ang nararamdaman mo,I think it was really a part of being a single parent,we can never always give them everything they want hindi dahil hindi natin kaya,kung hindi dahil sa sitwasyon na nagiging dahilan ng mga desisyon na nagiging mali lamang sa huli"

"A part of me wanted to tell him the existence of our children but the other half of me is afraid to let him know,he hated me and I don't know how to deal with this situation"

Every time she thinks about it,fear creeping her heart,the anger he has for her is always visible in his beautiful eyes. The eyes that Kai inherited from his father,she can't stand it.

"You can reach him now,you can tell him now" she shook her head,if it is that easy she should have told him that same time they had shared a passionate night together. But instead she became selfish,she gave in because that is what she wanted to happened too. He was right,I wanted it,as much as he wanted me,that burning desire between us is still there. Never have gone,never have been faltered,just buried behind too much kept emotions.

Maybe one day,maybe when the right times come.

"Mama!"

She fixed herself,they have heard the children calling them.

"Mama,we are ready na po" Iyonna's excited voice filled in.

"Oh wow,you look lovely in that dress,darling" puri ni Lei kay Iyonna.

"Thank you po,aunt Lei" magalang ang naging sagot ng anak niya sa kaibigan.

"What about me po,aunt Lei?" Ariadna's pouty lips protruded,she asked Lei.

"Of course honey,you are also lovely,just like your sister"

"Yey,do I look like a princess already,aunt Lei?" Ariadna do the curtsy as she turn around in front of us.

"Yes you are,you are a princess,entitled of everything a princess should have" Lei eyed me while saying those words to my daughter "you and your sister and brother.."

Ariadna can't help but feel giddy of the complement from her aunt Lei.

",,,how about that huh,Aia?"

"Thank you po,aunt Lei" Ariadna hugged Lei from her side and kissed Lei all over her face.

Lei can't stop but laugh and giggle.

Before lunch they left the resort where they stay,few bodyguards flocks around them. If she were to ask,she don't like the idea of it. But she knew that Geoffrey wouldn't want that,specially now that Lei is about to pop.

The resort is nature friendly,she like it,they have stayed there before. The Kairosinis rented two villa for them and another villa for the bodyguards.

The kids are whinning about going to the theme park but because it was late already. We decided to take them tomorrow instead,today they are visiting the botanical garden.

The sun is up,the humidity is not something they would embrace. But big trees help to lessen the heat and the wind. The lake is clean and it looks so calm and relaxing. She can stay seated on the grass while reading her book.
