Chapter twenty five

"Have a sit" he announced.

The kids took their own seats, while I was about to sit on my own when I felt his presence on my back.

"For the lady" he said while pulling the chair for her.

"Thank you" she said politely.

"Anything,kyria mou" it sounded so sensual she's not even sure she heard it right.

"How about a glass of wine?" he suggested.

She looked up at him,nodded.

"Yes please" politely.

A middle age man appeared, behind him, a younger man. They pushed the trolley with variety of drinks for dinner. The service is like one of those from five star restaurants and hotels. Pouring some wine into both glasses then handed her one.

She took a sip of the wine.

"This is good"

"I'm glad you still like the very same wine you used to love" her face heated up.

"Is this.."

"Yes,kayria mou" he confirmed.

"Papa, are we having wine too?" Aia asked in disbelief.

She looked at them,they all beaming at the sparkling grape juice that is now pouring on their own glasses.

"I guess so, do you want to try?" Thaddeus playfully asked their daughter.

"No" Aia shook her head "kids are not allowed alcohol, isn't it right mama?" I nodded.

"Yeah,ate Rhu said that also" Yonna agreeing to her sister.

"Wow! That is so cool" Kai said that made me smile.

Kai was just looking at his own glass with those twinkling eyes of his own.

"That is cool, but it's only for adults, Kai" Yonna scolding her brother.

She look at Thaddeus,.halata ang pagkaaliw nito sa mga bata habang pinapanood na nagdidiskusyon ang mga ito.

Amazement filled his eyes.

"It's a special drink for obedient children that we have, take a sip and tell us what it taste like" encouraging the kids with enthusiasm.

Kai take a sip while the girls are reluctant, they settled watching their brother.

"Wow! It taste really good papa,it's like a soda but not really,it's a fizzy grape juice!"

Interesting how little things can do big impact, just like how Kairos does.

"Very clever,son" Thaddeus patted Kai's head,she can see how proud he is of their son.

The girls copied and had gained the same reaction.

The food arrived,just like the usual,the kids and their father shared conversations. And she will always listen and laugh at them.

That overwhelming feeling she felt whenever she see the bond of her children with their father. She couldn't denied the fact that it was inevitable to ruin the blossoming relationship that they have as father and children.

"My family will arrive on the weekend" he announced as they settled at the entertainment room in his villa.

The children are now picking stuff,playing or I'd rather say making a mess of the surrounding. Thaddeus did not bother to tell them off, and she on the other hand did tried but they are just simply full of energy tonight.
