It's probably been years, decades now. I've spent most of my time as Levi's guardian, watching him and making sure he's okay. But unfortunately he was still mortal and I could only do so much to keep him safe. I couldn't extend the lifetime given to him when he was born. Although I could watch him and stay by his side, I missed his touch, him talking to me... I didn't want to pass on to another life because I wanted to protect him, make sure he lives his life safely. If I couldn't be with him as a live person, I could at least make it easier for him from here.
I was laying in my soft bed once, looking at the beautiful clouds surrounding me. And then, I saw something. The room became lit and I heard soft footsteps. The noise started slowly getting louder and I could tell that whatever it was, It was getting closer to me. It somehow felt familiar. I switched my gaze to the figure in the distance but the light was so bright that I could only see it's silhouette.
"...." I stood there, confused. The figure slowly walked towards me and eventually I could see it's features clearly. I immediately recognized who it was. Tears started escaping my eyes, I haven't cried for an eternity. I felt a warm palm rise up and caress my cheek, a feeling that I missed for so long.
"...Levi..."
