Finding My Place: Back to Building

Thomas and I stood in silence for a moment. After last night, I don't know why it should he awkward now. After all, he is my boyfriend now. He looked to me and smiled, but I was too busy staring at my sister and Newt. I know that she just got here, but I'm still protective of her. The next thing I knew, I was up and over Thomas's shoulder hanging head first. "Thomas! Put me down!" I command while laughing. "No! We have to go to building and Im going to carry you." He said while he was also laughing. I'm glad Thomas and I are together now. I feel like I'm seeing a while different side of him. I love it, too. I sighed. "Thomas, about last night. When you said you loved me, did you mean it?" I ask while still upside down. All the blood is rushing to my head, but I don't care. This is fun. "Bree, of course I meant it. Why do you ask?" He said while stopping and putting me down. He looked me straight in the eyes and it felt weird. "You've just been acting funny since you told me. I was just curious, but we need to
go so come on." I say as I took of with a half walk half jog. I make it to the builders and I'm not greated very kindly. I was shocked. "Well well well, if it isn't the greenie who thought she could just skip jobs. Well guess what sweetheart, you can't. Just because you are the only girl doesn't mean anything. Here!" a very ugly boy with aweful eyebrows said while throwing a hammer to me. I caught it. "Gally! Back off dude. If you're gonna mess with someone then mess with me! Of course you choose a girl to pick on because youre a shank!" Thomas snapped. Im glad he's here. "And by the way, there is another girl here now. And she just happens to be my little sister so if I here her say you did somethings to her, you're dead. Got that eyebrows?" I snap. I don't mess around when it comes to my sister. All he could do is stare with wide eyes and I nod. "That goes for me too. I will break your bloody neck if you mess with her you shuckface." a voice snapped. It was Newt and Alex was behind him. They are so cute together. "You little shanks think you can hurt me? Im like twice your size!" the boy, or Gally, snapped. He did have a point. He was pretty big. "Just get out of here, I'm not about to teach some brat how to build stuff." Gally said while looking directly at me, but all I did was stare. He didn't scare me at all, but I dont know about Alex. "Fine, she doesn't want to be here anyway!" Thomas said while he grabbed my arm and pulled me away. I look to see Newt and Alex walk off and are laughing. I guess Alex is alright with being with Newt, but I will stay very far away from building. This isn't my job.
