The Confession And The Makeup

Back to Bree's POV:

I wake up early the next morning because I'm having really bad hunger pains. I sit up in my hammock and take a look around; wait, this isn't my hammock. I look to my left to see Thomas sound asleep in my hammock. I guess I fell asleep in his, so he moved.
"Thomas, are you asleep?" I whisper leaning out of the hammock. I have put my hand on the ground so I don't fall out. He rolls over and runs his hands through his messy bed hair.
"Yeah, I'm up. Did you sleep good? You were out after five minutes of sitting with me!" he said sleepily but with a little laugh. I smile.
"Hey! I was tired. I'm still hungry though. Do you want to sneak in the kitchen and make some food?" I ask while getting out of his hammock and putting on his long sleeve shirt. It gets pretty cold in the morning and all I have on to sleep in are some shorts and a tank top.
"Yeah, let's go. I need to tell you something." he said while jumping out of the hammock. Surprisingly, he fell flat on his face. I just stood there and laughed at him while his lip was bleeding alot.
"Stop laughing! My lip is bleeding!" he snapped while laughing. I couldn't stop.
"I can't! Thomas why did you do that!" I say while falling over with laughter. He doesn't answer. Instead, he picks me up and slings me over his shoulder upside down and walks outside.
"Thomas! Put me down!" I say while hitting him in the back. He laughs and puts me down. I start to talk, but I get distracted by what I see.
"Excuse me! Everyone I have something to say!" I hear Gally yell while standing in the middle of the Glade. I grab Thomas's hand and pull him with me while I run. We finally reach the front of the crowd of Gladers surrounding Gally and we stop and listen.
"Thomas didn't destroy the gardens. It was me. I was just mad at Newt for something personal and I got carried away. I got so carried away that I not only hurt Newt, but I hurt everyone around me! Now we barely have any food and I'm so sorry! Can you please forgive me!" Gally pleaded while looking every one in the eyes. I was shocked. I never thought that much kindness could come from Gally. "Newt. Im so sorry!" he said while looking him dead in the eyes. Newt smiled and nodded.
"It's okay. But I'm expecting you to do some extra work now. You can replant every single vegetable you destroyed and tend to them until they are ready to be picked." Newt said while turning and walking away. He grabbed Alex's hand and pulled her away. Thomas did the same to me.
"Newt! Wait up!" Thomas half shouted. Newt and Alex stop and turned around. They both smiled.
"Tommy I'm so sorry for how I was acting! I'm sorry that I believed you did it too! I feel aweful! I'm such a bloody idiot!" Newt said while looking Thomas in the eyes. Thomas smiled.
"I'm sorry for punching you in the face. I got way too carried away! I feel aweful. But I do forgive you." Thomas said while pulling Newt in for a hug. Me and Alex smile.
"Alex. I'm sorry too for being aweful to you." I say while hugging her.
"I'm sorry too. For pulling your hair and calling you some names." she said hugging me back.
"You never called me names." I say while pulling away. She turned red and I laugh. "It's okay." I say while smiling. After that, Newt, Thomas, Alex and I hung out the rest of the day until we fell asleep under the stars.
