The Perfect Morning.... for Alex

I wake to the sound of some of the boys moans and yawns as they all wake up. I roll over to see my sister is still asleep and decide not to bother her. I put on my pants and a blue quarter sleeve shirt along with my combat boots. "Bree? What are you doing? It's still dark out." I hear Alex say sleepily. I nod at her and say, "I know, we get up before the sun so we can have more time to do things in the Glade. You live here too now so get up." I say as I pull her put of bed. She gets up and moans loudly. So loud that it makes Newt wake up and he sits up. "Are you okay?  You sound like a dying goat!" Newt said while laughing. Alex frowned at him. "Im fine! And I do not sound like a dying goat!" she snapped and playfully pushed his shoulder. "You two are so cute!" I say by accident. Alex and Newt both turn a shade of pink. Oops! "What she means is, you two are cute when you mess around like that." I heard Thomas say behind me. Thank God he was there to help. "Goodmorning," I say while hugging him. "thanks for that save!" I whisper. He sighs. "You're welcome. We have to finish your job stuff today. And today is the day with the Runners so you get to spend the day with your favorite person!" Thomas said while smiling. "Yay I get to hang out with Newt!" I say with a giggle. Thomas looked at me and frowned. "I'm just kidding! Frypan is my favorite, duh!" I say. Thomas frowns at first, but then smiles. "Very funny. Go get ready, but wear something to run in. We will be running most of the time." he commanded while giving me a nudge on the shoulder. We both look to Newt and Alex who are flirting with each other. Thomas and I smile at them and stare. They are too cute! "Okay, see you at breakfast!" I say while giving him a kiss on the cheek. I turn to go change and then it happens in front if everyone. Thomas grabbed my waist, turned me around and kissed me like we did the other night! Right there in front of everyone! I was a little embarrassed at first because everyone was staring. But I got more comfortable with it. "Thomas! What are you doing? Not right now!" I say while giving him a little push. I go to get dressed and Alex comes with me. As we change, all of the boys went to eat. When we walk into the dining room, I get startled to see Newt standing on the table in the middle. "Everyone listen up! Alex is my girl now! Hear that? My girl! If anyone dares to mess with her or even make her cry one tiny tear; you're a dead man! Good that?" he announced proudly. My mouth dropped wide open as I heard that. I turn to Alex who is blushing like crazy! She looks like a tomato. She just nods and smiles. "Bree, Newt is my boyfriend now!" she said with a nervous smile. I squeel and hug her. "Yes! I knew it! I knew you two liked each other! This is perfect!" I announce to everyone in the room. This day is starting off great.
