I wake up to my alarm. I have to go to school. Today was only a half day because of teacher conferences. I yawn and get dressed. I just wore black jeans, a black shirt tucked into the jeans, and black converse. Wow. I'm feeling vibrant today. I walk downstairs and see a note on the counter. It was from my mom.

"Hey love! Awe darling your father and I have a business trip to attend to. We left early this morning and will be away for the while. Remember you don't have school on Friday! Stay safe and call me if you need anything."

I don't know why but those last nine words just made me think of Luke. I shake off the though as a shudder pulses through my spine.

I eat some cereal and I brush my teeth. I grab a black jacket before I go. It's still about an hour until school starts so I decide to walk. I see a lot of unfamiliar and strange men across the street, probably smoking something. Clouds of toxins rise above them, as they look at me. One smirks. The others all have toothy grins.

They start to approach me. I walk a bit quicker. They are almost on my tail and I take off. They don't call me fast for nothing. I've almost lost all of them except for one. I hear footsteps behind me. I didn't stop until they became slower. I'm close to school now. I walk past alleyways until I get pushed into one. It's dark but I can make out the faces. It's Zayn and Calum.

"Where's Luke." Zayn imitates me. I start shaking.

"You don't need to worry about him." Calum shakes his head.

I smear my fingers across my forehead.

"Don't you have school to attend?" Zayn questions.

"Yes, and I'd appreciate it if I could go." I swallow.

"Okay, you can go." I turn on my heels and almost escape until someone grasps my arm.

"On one rule."

I'm listening.

"Don't go near Luke. Don't talk to him. Don't even look at him. He's dangerous and we're only doing this to help you. Besides you're ours now in any case." He lets go. I run to school.

I make it just in time. Tears are streaming down my face. I bump into someone with their head down too. It's Erin. We both look at eachother and then collapse into a hug. My tears start to dry up. I lean back and we wipe out tears away.

I continue to class in which we are both two minutes late for. Luckily we have the nicest teacher in school for period one. We didn't get any punishments, in fact he didn't even notice.

We went to first, second, third, and fourth period, then it was time to go home. I forgot it was only a half day.

I run to Luke's house. I see him collapsed on the pavement. I sprint over to him, and kneel down next to him. He opens his eyes and gets up slowly. I didn't know what was wrong with him. When he gets up, one whole side of his body is soaked with blood. He was wearing a jacket so I couldn't see the rest of it all on himself.

"Wh-what happened?" A serious look crosses me face as my eyes dart back and forth at him.

"What do you mean? Nothing happened. I'm fine. How was your day?" He limped and had an open arm for a half hug.

"Luke, you're limping. Let's go and clean you up." I hold back the tears.

I help him upstairs by practically carrying him. I set him down on the ground. I go and start running a warm bath. He lets out a whimper. I turn around and see him trying to take off his shirt. I go and help him sit up. Tears are forming in his eyes. I pull back his jacket and let it slowly slide off. I help un-stick his shirt from his body. The blood was everywhere.

As I pull off his shirt, there is huge huge gash running down his right side. I feel my mouth open. He sighs. I help undo his pants and when I slide them down, surely enough there is that same gash with blood trickling down. There are also scrapes on his chest and all over his back and across his legs. I touch the brim of his underwear and he stops me.

"I can do that." He giggles, making me laugh.

I quickly run to turn off the tap with was almost overflowing now and run back to go and help him. Before I do anything, I kiss him. He kisses back almost immediately and we kiss until we hear Michael coming upstairs.

"Oh shit." He chuckles. I help him up and we walk quickly into the bathroom, before Michael sees anything. He slides into the bathtub. He starts crying from the pain. I take my thumb and wipe his tears away. I start pouring water over his shoulder. He clenches his teeth together and closes his eyes. It must sting like crazy.

I cleaned up the wound. I sit back down.

"What happened?" I ask again.

"Well," He sighs,"Zayn and Calum did this. I was looking for them because Michael told me he heard what they said to you from Erin."

Then I shatter. I shatter like glass. I shake my head and tears surge down my face. I look up at him crying too. We're both broken. I can't bear him in this kind of state. I don't like him being hurt. No actually I hate him being this hurt. And especially because of me. I hate myself. I hate myself so much.

I help him out of the bath, and help him get his pjs on. We stumble back to his bed. I help him lay down and he falls asleep almost instantly.

Michael drives me home. I think he knows what I'll be doing tonight.

"It wasn't your fault." He mumbles.

"What?" I ask.

"It wasn't your fucking fault." He spits.

"Yes it was." I say under my breath.

"Look, if you need anything, call me. Okay?" He pulls up at my house.

"Okay." I lie and get out of the car. He pulls away shaking his head.

I get inside and run upstairs. I find my blade in the bathroom. I start.
