Chapter 6 Butterflys

I woke up with the sun beaming down on me. I frowned when I touched my check. There were dry tears on my face. So I must of been crying in my sleep.

I dreamt about what my life might of been like if my mom had never sent me into hiding.

I got up and dusted my dress off. Now what do I do. I don't want to go back there but I don't have anywhere else to go either. I was shaken out of thought when I felt something on my arm

"Omg it's a spider! Get off me get off!"

I kept shaking my arm till finally it feel off. I quickly ran to the lake to wash off my arm. I freakin hate bugs!

"Well I guess I could go and find Tyler." I said to myself

I started heading in the opposite direction of my house. Till I came across a little white house. I knock on the door but no one answered. So I went round back to the ranch. I found Tyler reading of course.

"Hey" I said

"Oh hey" he said smiling "how have you been?"

"Uh well the people I've been living with I don't really know, for all I know I'm really an orphan, I have powers of some sort, I slept outside, no one can tell me anything, I could be dangerous and be in danger, I'm part of some secret agency and everyone there wants to capture me, oh and there was a spider on me this morning. So yea my day was great how bought you?"

"Woah Lynn, that's a lot to take in... What powers?"

"I don't know John won't tell me"

"You mean your dad?"

"No I mean John" I say not looking up at him

"Oh...so what are you gonna do now?"

"Well what can I do"

"Nothing I guess...I'm sorry Lynn I can't but feel like this is partly my fault if I hadn't of asked about...

"Stop it, don't say that. It's not your fault."

"Yea but..."

"No, no buts it's not your fault they decided to leave me, it's not your fault they decided to keep everything a secret."

Tyler came into a hug. I hugged him back and what felt like five seconds was really more like a minute. He finally let go.

"You should go home"

"Why?"

"You should talk to them you can't just run away your only 16"

"But"

"Brooklyn your going to talk to them and I'm walking you home just to make sure you get there."

"Fine"

We both started towards my house. It's was silent. But it was a nice silence. Soon enough though the silence was interrupted.

"Hey have you guys seen any horses pass by?"

It was the same guy from yesterday except he had a shirt on. I didn't look up at him. Yet I could feel him staring at me.
