"Lynn!"
I walked towards the lake knowing id find Tyler. He was so happy to see me.
"Hey." I said weakly
"Where have you been I've been so worried the whole town woke up and your place was destroyed. I was so scared that something happened to you."
Tyler came up and hugged me. A tear slid down my cheek but I quickly wiped it. I've been crying way to much lately
"Well I'm living at Alex's with Lucy. And those guys that were after me they tried to capture me."
"Wait your with Alex that weird dude from the other day?" Tyler let go of me
I felt something warm and kind and something I needed leave me. Unlike when Alex's with me I feel like everything is a adventure. Yet calming and reassuring.
"Well he was there for us so..."
"You could of came to get me"
"Tyler let's not argue"
He frowned "I don't like that guy"
"Why?"
"I don't know why I just don't have a good feeling about him."
"Why cause he's not you" I joked
But he looked at me with all seriousness
"Tyler what's wrong ?"
"Nothing" Tyler got up and was about to leave but I got up and stopped him.
He turned and looked straight at me with his blue eyes. As deep as the ocean. My hazel eyes didn't even compare.
Brooklyn you don't know how long I've been trying to tell you but I like you I've liked you for a long time now I just...its just every time I tried to tell you I just couldn't.
His eyes softened as he took my hands in his. I didn't know what to say. I don't know if I liked him or not I always saw him as a brother.
"I...I don't know what to say"
"Then don't say anything and come here"
Tyler then pulled me close and meet my lips with his. It was soft and delicate like Tyler was. But it had something special to it. So I kissed back. And wrapped my hands around his neck. He put both hands around my waist. It felt magical.
I didn't want he kiss to end but of course we got interrupted by none other than Alex.
"I hope I'm not interrupting something" he said sarcastically
I quickly pulled away from Tyler and he seemed to notice this and became sad and pulled away to.
"What do you want Alex?"
Alex looked mad but quickly covered it up. I ignored it
"I just came to tell you we're leaving in a week. Its not safe here."
"Where are we gonna go?"
"Don't start with the questions Lynn"
"Lynn?" Tyler said softly behind me "but..."
"Is something wrong Tyler" Alex said annoyingly
"Yes actually your the problem all the trouble started when you got here. And now you're ruining everything including me and Lynn's relationship. My Lynn only I call her that."
"I guess not anymore"
"Alex stop!" I said
"What princess you believe him"
"I didn't say that"
"Lynn." Tyler looked at me "don't leave me again"
"Tyler if you truly cared for Brooklyn you would let her go. it's to dangerous for her here."
"Was I talking to you? And besides I can protect her I have been so far"
Tyler started laughing
"What do you mean protecting me? Have you known about this to? This whole time"
"Yea Tyler why don't you tell her the truth?" Alex said
Tyler turned to look at me sorrow in his eyes
"Yes I did know but..."
"No! No buts Tyler leave me alone"
"Lynn!"
"Don't call me that"
And I walked away from both of them heading towards Alex's house.

Tyler's pov
I watched as the love of my life, my sister, my best friend drifted away from me. All because the authorities didn't trust us anymore to be enough to protect her.
I look at Alex and pushed hard against his chest
"This is all your fault"
"Woah Tyler I'm not gonna fight you"
"You don't care do her like I do"
"True I was just hoping for a hit and run but you know how that works while on the job"
He was obviously joking but I still didn't like how he was talking about Brooklyn
"Don't talk about her like that!"
"Woah dude your really hooked huh? To bad she's going home with me. And she's mad at you."
"If you even think of touching her I'll hurt you"
"Then you might as well hurt me now since I already have"
"You know what I'm done with this just watch her for me"
"Dude chill" Alex then turned and headed home.
I'll win Brooklyn's heart back. I know I will. No more secrets.
