"I'm glad you choose to go with me. Trust me you made the right choice"

I turned and smiled at Alex. That's all I could do. I couldn't help but feel guilty for leaving the darkside but what choice did I have. Alec is right it is the right choice right? I still don't even know what we're fighting about. But I don't feel like talking do I don't say anything. We've been in the car for about an hour now and it's been pretty quite till now.

He turned and smiled back at me. And reached over to hold my hand. His hands were always so warm but right now they felt cold and weird against my skin. I pulled away from the cold contact a little to quickly and I could see it hurt him.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that it's just..."

"It's fine Brooklyn" he turned and gave me a slight smile

I slouched back in my chair and looked out the window. I keep hurting everyone Tyler, Jake, now Alex won't be surprised if I...

(Phone rings)

"Hello"
"Yea where on our way"

I watched as Alex talked to someone from his headset. At least he's a safe driver.

"Yes she choice our side"
"Mom! Can you please just wait for us to get there"
"I know I know I'm sorry"
"We'll be there in a hour or two"
"Okay bye"

I sat up "who was that?"

"my mother she very happy you choose our side"

"Is she now"

"Yep"

"Well I can't wait to meet her"

I took his hand in mine to make up for what happened earlier. I could see him smile for real this time. I looked out the window again. I didn't even realize I feel a sleep till I heard Alex calling my name.

"Hey Brooklyn, Brooklyn get up we are here"

"Ugh"

"Well you could stay in the car if you'd like but i wouldn't recommend it"

"Whatever Alex let's go"

"Ok you big baby"

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. It was so windy out. Its only November and I already feel like I have hyperthermia. Can't wait till February comes around ugh.

"We're here to talk with the super attendant"

I was so tired. I sat on a chair in a in the office and my head kept bobbing up and down as I tried to stay awake. Alex was talking to the lady at the front desk.

"Oh of course Alex just walk right in"

Alex motioned at me to come on so I slugged my way over to him. He laughed at me as he opened the door to her office.

"Brooklyn it's nice to see you again"

I just smiled and took a seat before she could even offer.

"She's half a sleep" I heard Alex say to make up for my rudeness

"I can see that" she replied "I never properly introduced myself" she was looking at me so I tried to sit up a little more.
