Chapter 16 Mr. Zone

I woke up and turned to look at the time on my phone 9:50! Class started an hour ago! Why didn't Jake wake me?!

Okay that was a stupid question. It's Jake for crying out loud. I ran into the bathroom and did the regular. Brush teeth, wash face yea yea. Then picked my outfit. Blue sweater jeans and grey boots. Now for my hair. I was gonna leave it down but decided on a bun. Turned into a messy bun but I don't have time. I then raced out the door I'll eat later.

Now where am I going? I don't even know how to get to the school. It took me 15 min of driving around in what felt like circles to find the school. I raced through the front doors and right into the office.

"Late are we" the lady at the front desk said not looking up

"Yea sorry I was"

"And I don't care" she said still not looking up. "Rude much?" I said under my breath but she heard me.

"What was that?" She said finally looking up "and I was gonna give you a pass to but I...oh your Brooklyn The Brooklyn I should say" she winked at me. Oh so now she's nice. I hate people like her

"Yeah that's me"

"Well since your new you'll be excused. He's your schedule and pass have a nice day" she then smiled and got back to work. I looked at my schedule

Fighting/Powers

That's new. I walked to the class. Surprisingly not getting lost and walked in. Second period had just started so I wasn't late. But everyone still looked at me. I ignored them and looked around. It was a weird class room. There were mats every where and no desk just seats. There was a board at the front with moves on it like punches, and kicks, and powers...maybe I'll get to learn mine. There was a seat empty by this pretty redhead so I took it.

"You....your...Broo...broo...brook..."

"Brooklyn?." Someone that I'm guessing was the teacher called out

"Yes?" I looked up confused everyone laughed he smiled

"Your suppose to say here but I'll let it slide since your new"

"Oh ok" I said blushing everyone laughed again

"Brooklyn are you nervous?"

"Um kinda...last time I've been to school was when I was 12."

"Well..." Before he could say anything else someone walked in. It was Jake and ugh Anna.

"Why are you late" he said

"I was showing this wonderful young lady around." He turned and winked at Anna she smiled at him

"Yeah showing her your dick!" Some boys in the back yelled

Everyone started laughing. Including me it was probably true. The teacher whose name I still don't know shock his head. But I could tell he was smiling. He was pretty young for a teacher.

"Okay just take a seat"

Jake nodded then turned and saw me. He smiled but I rolled my eyes instead. He shrugged and took a seat in the back with the guys who called out earlier. The teacher looked back at me and smiled.

"Well as I was about to say before I was interrupted" he turned and glared at Jake then continued "I'm Mr.Zone and I'm subbing for Mr. Demetry"
