Chapter 7 Gaurdian

"What's going on here!?"

"Mmm mhm" both of my fake parents  tried to talk but their mouths were duct taped. I started walking over to them but they both shook their heads warning me not to move.

"What do I do then" I whispered

John nodded his head towards him self. Telling me it was okay to come towards them now. I walked quickly but quietly towards them. And took the tape off.

"Hurry untie us. Then get your siblings." Annabel said

"What's going on?" I said while untying  them.

"The computer you guys were using it was connected to the Darkside" John said when I finished untying him

"Wait the darksides here in the house?"

"Yes we're gonna distract them when they come back down then you run" Annabel said after I finished untying my siblings.

"So what do I do now?"

"Hide, there are people that will find you and help you. But from now on you can't trust anyone."

"What's gonna happen to you guys and how will I know weather to trust them or not?"

"Nothing will happen hopefully. And you'll just know okay Brooklyn."

We heard steps coming down the stairs and my heart jumped. I'm a plain little Amish girl I can't handle this.

John got into game mode. And Annabel came over to me with the most serous look I've ever seen on her. She reached out for my hands and held on to them tightly. And said...

"Brooklyn I'm sorry for everything I've done. But your strong and more powerful then you know. You can do this."

Tears started falling down my face.

"I love you mom" and yes I said mom

She smiled "I love you to" she then gave me a quick tight hug, let go and got into game mode.

All of my siblings had left to go hide so I did the same and went behind the kitchen counter. I found Lucy there crying softly. I pulled her into my chest and she started crying even more causing my dress to become wet.

"It's okay" I said softly

"Are we gonna die" she said looking up at me

"Shhh no we're gonna be fine" I tried to say convincingly but I didn't even convince myself. After a few seconds she looked up again.

"Yes sweet pea"

"Are you gonna leave us?"

I couldn't help but let a tear fall. She reached up with her little 6 year old hands and wiped it away"

"It's okay, it's okay, just promise you'll come and visit every now and then?"

"I promise" I leaned down and kissed her forehand. Then heard footsteps come down the stairs. Her crying became harder and I pressed her more into my chest to quite her tears.

"Where is she?"I heard a deep scary voice say

"We don't know what your taking about besides you already searched the whole place" my mom said

"Then how did you get out?"

"Why don't you tell us?" My dad said and I heard noises of pain. I told Lucy to stay where she was and look around the counter. They were full out fighting. There was swords, and whips, and punches flying everywhere.  I went back around the counter when I didn't see Lucy.

I softly called for her when I heard her screaming upstairs. Before I thought it through I ran up the stairs and I heard someone yell after me.

"Brooklyn no!!!!" It was my mom

"It's her get her you idiots!"

"Lucy!" I yelled once I got to the top of the steps.

"Brookl... I heard her screams from my parents room become muffled. I became worried and ran as fast as I could into the room.

I stopped in the middle of the room and the door closed behind me.

"Lucy?"

Lucy appeared being held back by two men and a cloth covered her mouth. Fear showed in her eyes. A feeling I've never felt before a mixture of anger and power started building up inside me. But I held back.

"Let her go"

"Then we would have to replace her with you"

"No let her go first then we can talk"

"We're not stupid Brooklyn. Damon will be so happy with us. Maybe bring a little piece of her as a surprise." One said to the other causing him to laugh

"Your not gonna touch either of us." And before I knew it I was running at top speed towards both of them. I grabbed one by the neck and it snapped in my hand. The other one tried to get me from behind but I kicked him where the sun don't shine and he fell over in pain.

They were both out. But we only had little time before the one I kicked would come back to get us. I took the cloth off Lucy and we both ran down the stairs. I don't know how I did what I did in that room but it was awesome.

When we got to the bottom of the steps. My heart felt like it was gonna fall out of my chest. There laid both my parents on the floor. Not breathing.

Tears feel down my face to quick for me to stop them. Lucy started crying too. We walked around. The house was completely destroyed. Our siblings laid on the floor as well. I counted all except Luke I hope he's okay.

Lucy broke into full out crying falling onto her knees. I kneeled beside her and pulled her close. We stayed like this for a good five minutes. When the guy from upstairs came down laughing.

"What's wrong with you! If your gonna kill us just go ahead already we've lost everything!" I screamed at him

He laughed again "that's good were all gonna die anyway the bomb in the stove will explode in 5 seconds"

I was shocked I pulled Lucy by the hand and ran again with super speed.

BAM!!!!!

The explosion pushed us both forward. Luckily making us land in the pond.

We both climbed out. And I pulled Lucy towards me as she shivered for body heat. I didn't know what to do. But for now on I'm Lucy's guardian.
I smiled a slight smile down at Lucy. But she didn't smile back.

We started walking not knowing where to when I heard a voice from behind us.

"Where do you guys think your going?"

Sorry it took me so long to update. Not my best. But Been kinda busy. But Hoppy Easter! And poor Lucy and Brooklyn but trust me things get better. And above is a pic of our little adorable Lucy.
