I could already hear Hanji talking as I passed by the conference room. I shook my head, walking on to my sleeping quarters. I closed the door behind me, looking at the bare room. My stuff was in two bags which were sitting on my bed. I let out a sigh, unpacking some of my stuff, and getting out my sleep wear. I changed out of my uniform, throwing my blanket and pillow on the bed. I opened the blinds to the window, letting in the faded light from the moon as it hid behind some clouds. I sighed, staring at the stars filling the sky. I then set up my uniform for the next day. I got into bed, resting my head on the pillow and wrapping myself in the blanket. I closed my eyes, slowly letting my mind fade from reality.
"Can you sing it to me?" I looked at him with wide eyes. I opened my mouth, before closing it again, unsure of what to say. "Well?" he said in an impatient tone...
I opened my eyes. Why was I thinking about him? I stared at the white wall, as if it would give me an answer. I swear, after all these years of working along side of Levi, not giving a shit about him or our past, and now I can't seem to stop thinking about him. His grey eyes, and black hair never changing from when he was little. I groaned, turning over, so that I was staring at the ceiling. It was painted the same, bland color as the walls. I sat up, throwing the covers off of me. I went over to my bags, which sat on the small desk in the corner. I opened up one of them, taking out the contents and organizing them around the room, putting everything away. I pinned up the notes and drawings of Sawney and Bean that Hanji had given me. I put a notebook on the desk, a pen stuck in the binding. I moved to the door, placing my hanger holding my jacket on the doorknob. I opened the closet, neatly putting all of my clothes away. I had mostly uniforms, and an outfit that once belonged to my dad. It was a loose black shirt with black skin-tight pants. I closed the closet door, before looking around the room. I let out a sigh, seeing the sun begin to shine through, painting the room. I turned to my uniform, which had been set on the dresser top, and got ready for the day. After I was changed, and my leathers were secure, I slipped out of my room quietly, and walked over to the conference room. Hanji was still talking her ass off as I entered. I picked up the tea set, looking at Eren. He had dark circles under his eyes, and looked as though he would pass out right then and there. I shook my head. "Go easy on him Hanji," I said before walking off. She stopped and called out. "Of course, (Y/N)." I let out a sigh, walking over to the kitchen, where I placed the tray with the tea set on the counter. I turned on the faucet, and proceeded to clean the cups and the pot. I filled a kettle with some water, placing it on the stove to heat up. I finished washing the tea set, taking a clean towel and drying them off. The water came to a boil, nd the kettle began to sound. I put down the last cup, and moved to the kettle, taking it off the heat. I turned off the stove, pouring the water into the pot with some tea leaves. Letting the pot sit to steep, I poured the excess water into the sink. I rested against the counter, crossing my arms. Suddenly. "(Y/N)!!! SAWNEY AND BEAN!!!" Hanji screamed at me. I stood up, looking at her face of terror. She ran off, and I followed her. She ran to the stables, and we both got our horses. Eren was a little ways behind us. "Got on your horse," I said, and he obeyed, saddling his horse quickly. Hanji led as we raced to the city where the experimental titans were. When we reached the area, Hanji screamed at the sight. Both titans were nothing but bones. The rest f the Levi's squad, including him and Erwin came shortly after. I stood there and watched as Hanji fell to her knees. It was the longest we had kept any titan experiment subjects, and I knew it broke Hanji's heart, which is so weird, but at the same time valuable. We can't fight something we know so little about, and that's really the reason why Hanji continues to conduct these experiments. I walked over to her, bending down next to her balled up body. I rubbed her back, and she looked up at me. I glanced at her, forcing a small smile. Then, she engulfed me in a hug, causing me to fall back a little. I rested on my elbows, as she continued to hug and cry. I let out a sigh, rubbing her back with one hand, until she calmed down.
